I haven't watched it but I'm sure it's pretty decent, since grainy films can still look good on the format. That's the way it was filmed, that's the way it should be seen, and with the filmstock they had at the time it's not like they could help it. It shouldn't have been tampered with with all that DNR. I think the only reason that first Blu-ray release gets such a bad rap is because it has no special features.

Yeah, the rerelease sucks because it suffers terribly from DNR. The new one is pretty impressive given the look of the film in general.
