It's times like these, when I'm job-hunting, that I wonder what in the fuck made me think this tattoo was a good idea.
I applaud you sir. It's hard to separate a person with the work that they do. Shyamalan has done alot to his viewers to turn them away since making The Sixth Sense. (He does seem quit high on himself.) But, I have had to place him in that Hollywood Catagory with others such as Tom Cruise and Christian Bale. I have never met one of them. But, I have heard enough from each to have decided that they are all whack-jobs. But, all three have contributed to some of my favorite pieces of cinema. So, just because I am not willing to sell my midichlorians to Tom Cruise and go live with him up in his spaceship, doesn't mean that I will deprive myself of a great actor who puts out some really good films. I think that many people had already made up their mind that they were gonna hate this movie, the minute it was announced that M. Night was directing it. I'm not saying that The Last Airbender is awesome. But, I will say that it is better than half of his other movies.
An excellent read, sir, and a brave stance to take. Always nice to hear the thoughts of other folks who liked this movie.
Thanks. I think the fact that I honestly tried to make the piece as well-written as possible gets lost in the apparent sheer amazement that someone liked the film. I was trying to be thought-provoking, and provide alternative arguments to the ones I've heard to the film's negative.

That's fucking beast
