Awesome list. I don't think the maker has to spend the day with the body though? I thought it was just a comfort thing.
Very nicely done, Vamp chick approved :) We haven't had enough vamp conversions yet for us to know whether it is required that they stay with the body in True Blood, it isn't referenced in the books.

haha this is fantastic.. Rick Gomes steals every scene he's in and you can't fuck with Ronald Spiers!

1 - nice to see, I dig it as well. Love the Pod Race, Qui Gon and all the sabre fights
3, 4 and 5 great to see and agreed! My faves as well
Cool to see 21 as well, I absolutely love it too though the original still bests it for me

Nice! I was actually considering putting on 4 and 6 on my list! 6 really surprised me, damn good movie
The Five-Year Engagement is really underrated. I went in thinking it'll just be okay but it was a lot funnier and touching than I expected.
Nothing more unexpected than Rhys Ifhans running on top of the car all nonchalantly. Had me rolling.

Arya is amazing (she's my top fave in GoT) and Carlyle is great. It's awesome to see him on TV but even cooler that he has such an unusual character to strut his stuff with.

TMP and GENERATIONS don't belong at the bottom. Far from it, I would insist. Jerry Goldsmith's score to TMP alone is legendary.
I would expect they might...
I don't see that as a weakness, so much as quality in what I like to find in my Trek. Earlier TREK was defined by its seminal intellect, even cerebral effect on the viewer with regard to space travel and sci-fi elements. Profound concepts, which newer TREK seems to have swept aside completely. The main focus now being more on explosions, action & entertainment side of things.
TMP and GENERATIONS are perhaps the 2 most abstract & surreal of them all. That's why they're probably my favorite ones.

2 - hotter than all other Earth-women! haha
5, 3, 8, 1, 9 in that order after that for me... yummmm

yeah I never got why they didn't do a sequel to #1. It was a surprisingly good movie, much better than most other similar movies which spawned sequels...
Love #2, can't remember how it ended though... was there a cliffhanger/sequel hint?
Agree with 3, just caught it all these years later and... damn, it was way way better than I expected, a blast!
5 hellllllllllllllllll yessssssssssssssssssss need that!
6 I got my fingers crossed, I hear rumblings...

BLACK SWAN. THE FOUNTAIN. THE WRESTLER. REQUIEM FOR A DREAM. In other words, Darren Aronofsky loves sad endings.

hey im a straight female and ill admit, in general women are WAY more attractive than men. Yet Id still rather have sex with guys. weird.
I've talked about going gay for Gavin Rossdale, but I'd take Gwen in a heartbeat
9. It's a gay thing, haha.
8. This. Urgh. I hate watching films/shows via Netflix on the laptop so I can't even imagine why anyone would wanna watch a flick/show on a phone/i-pad whatever.
10. Don't like them. Guys, if you're built like a rugby player...fine otherwise put those chiken legs away. urgh.

Based on a list by horrorfan23

mmmhmmm. You got all the best leg ladies here. Kudos for putting in Ciara and Maggie Q. When I saw Best Legs I IMMEDIATELY thought of them. lol

Awesome list !! '' STRANGELOVE '' is a great pick , so is '' MALTESE FALCON '' !! NICE !!

@cerealkiller: Completely 100 percent disagree.
Tom Cruise gave an excellent performance in Magnolia, A Few Good Men, and Born on the Fourth of July.
Brad Pitt gave a wonderful performance in Tree of Life, Babel and Inglorious Basterds. In fact Inglourious Basterds completely changed my opinion of him as an actor.
@OKC: And the shit is if he ever DOES get an Oscar, it'll probably be a best actor award serving as some lifetime achievement courtesy nonsense like they did with Henry Fonda, Paul Newman, Al Pacino, and Martin Scorsese.
From 5 to 10 I agree with you, the others I have never see anything Oscar worthy from them, in my opinion of course.

I wouldn't consider it groundbreaking but definitely fun to watch. The first season was really good. The main character was like a british Jack Bauer.
If you enjoyed Strikeback you should check out Spooks (or I think it's called MI5 in U.S.) Great show.

My thoughts: "Damn it is cold in this theater" and "Man, that Dark Knight Rises trailer was AMAZING!"
Ha, nice!
Yes, I would've liked to have seen them enjoying some corn bread at the meal table.

Rhona Mitra is ABOVE Kate Beckinsale?
Wait... there are people ABOVE Kate Beckinsale?!
1. - I wonder if the title to this film would be considered a major spoiler...you think?
2. - Sonny Chiba, man! What more can you say about this classic scene from "Kill Bill Vol. 1"? So frickin' cool.
4. - Very deep scene. Brings tears to my eyes every now and then because it feels like Rocky is giving me the pep talk of a lifetime.
6. - "Natives 8. Oil Workers, zero." - Steven Seagal was the Billy Jack of my generation in this movie.
8. - I wonder how long it took Michael Biehn to learn all that gun twirling.
10. - Damn, I love this film. It feels like a companion piece to "The Walking Dead" now. Thomas Jane owns this scene.
11. - One of the reasons why I started toking up hard core in high school.
4 - BRILLIANT. Such a fantastic scene that was part of an amazingly underrated performance from Stallone and an underrated movie in general. Definitely should've soaked up the press with noms and awards, a damn crying shame it didn't.
@threatpoet, I'd have say no on #1, because a quater of the way through my cousin goes, "I think he's gonna kill Jesse".
1. Lord Of War
2. Heat
3. Constantine
4. Identity
5. The Brave One
6. Meet Joe Black
7. Forrest Gump
8. Lucky Numbet Slevin
9. Batman
10. Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves

So much awesomeness in this video-compilation, I am going to bookmark you, so I don't have to bother to look for this on youtube, because you put together many of my favorite videos... and also got me nostalgic.

I like to play Hitchcock films, especially Dial M for Murder. Something about Grace Kelly killing a man in defense and the sound of a classic film gets me into these weird vivid dreams.

I always loved watching the 3rd on dvd where it was interactive and certain kills happened different ways depending on the choices YOU made while watching it.
My first time watching 3 was on the dvd and I went that "You Decide" router. Needless to say my first choice ended the movie.

The Ref is an underappreciated gem. I fucking LOVE that flick. Truth be told, I couldn't help but feel sorry for Leary by the end of the flick.

Alot of gr8 bands have come out of Australia over many years. + 3. wow -luv her, fantastic actress.
8. mmmm well, more so in past years but!
1. I'd tap her for voice over work-film-TV whatever? If I was in the Biz.

what part of SLC got it you? The morning after the party/''You fucking poser'' scene?

#1 Chick-flick. Easy to hate.
#5 Mind numbingly slow. It's like watching paint dry.
#7 The Monty Python show had a few funny skits but their movies were never funny to me. Maybe dope is required for Monty Python films like 3D glasses are required for 3D films. It seemed the only fans of these films that I met were heavy pot smokers.

WoW! I quit watching after season 3, but will check into getting them to watch.

Haven't seen but want to: TRON: Legacy , Black Swan, True Grit, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Fighter, Unstoppable, The Social Network, The American, The Kids Are All Right, Toy Story 3, The Next Three Days, Blue Valentine, Stone, Conviction.
I agree with about half of these...looks like you got some catching up to do!
Going to the theater isn't as appealling as it used to be. I usuallyt wait til they come out on dvd, then buy them. I've only seen my top 4 in the theater.
