I just saw the trailer for "Unbroken", the movie about Mr. Louis Zamperini and it looks incredible to me. Now I admit I may be a bit bias because he was a Trojan, I mean the man was the definition of 'Fight On'. Either way I cannot wait to see this movie, I hope it is as good as I am anticipating it to be. I am a sucker for biopics after-all.

So I came across this photo online and I am glad I did, because after seeing Andy Serkis in the trailer I was jonesing to find who the hell he was playing. Could Serkis be Ulysses Klaw? And if so, could we see some kind of Black Panther appearance? I am not a hundred percent sure, but with Caps broken shield I have to (hope and.) assume we see Wakanda. I know its hard nowadays to cast someone in secret, so I won't get my hopes up. But if Serkis is in fact Klaw I have to believe T'Challa is right around the corner.

Damn, that's right. I wanted to check that video out. Thank you for the reminder, amigo.

And yeah, I am with you, I hope this leads to a bigger role in a Black Panther movie! T'Challa is one of my favorite Marvel characters. I just hope if so, they snag the right actor.

They did a lot of filming in Africa, so not seeing Wakanda would be surprising. I wouldn't be surprised if we see the Black Panther show up in Avengers 2.

Apparently there has been a mass shooting/death threat at a local college up here that my nephew goes to, and the university has been on lockdown since noon. Of course no one in my family could get a hold of him to make sure everything is okay. They recently started allowing people to be escorted off the campus. I am hearing the threat was made via a social media site named Yik Yak, I have never heard of the site, but from what I read these kind of threats are (sadly.) common on it? As of now nothing has actually happened, thankfully.

Thank you, WA, since posting this my nephew has got a hold of my sister. He said that they apparently wouldn't let anyone use their phones during the lock down.

This time next week I will be hitting the road and heading downstate again for my friend and his wife's annual Halloween party. This year before the house party we will be going on a "Haunted Wine Tour" starting at 10am until 5pm then back to their casa for the party..it's going to be a long intoxicating day, but man'o'man I cannot wait.

Speaking of Halloween, a guy that works next door to me knew that I was Joker a couple years back and he asked me if he could borrow the costume. I told him of course, but the thing is it has been in the costume bag under my bed for about two years now. Hopefully its in alright condition so he can use it this coming weekend. :)

I'm about to finish season two of "Arrow" on Netflix, then I can use On-Demand or Hulu to catch up and be 'live' with my episodes. But I have to admit being caught kind of sucks in a way, like last night with "Supernatural", these are two of a handful of shows I have never been up to date on, so its a bit odd that I can't just go right to Netflix/On-Demand/Vudu and watch what is coming next. It reminds me of back when "LOST"(or even "Game of Thrones"/"The Walking Dead" now.) was on and how killer it was waiting week to week, season to season.

Just started on Arrow, season 1 ep 4 now... hihihi.

YoshioKun13
YoshioKun13 at 01:13 PM Oct 23

Ahhhhh yes I remember those days of LOST myself. I got into the show when S2 was airing so the only season I could binge watch and burn right through was S1.

The rest of the series, week-to-week episodes season from season.....gruelling.

I am not sure I could handle all of that again.

XSsoCX
XSsoCX at 03:31 PM Oct 23

It really was tough. I was there from the start, and man did it ever hurt.

I got my buddy and his wife into the show. They started catching up renting the DVDs at a video shop. One night they finished the first disc and had to race down to the store the get the rest of the season so they made sure they had it. haha.

Taking a little break from the movies, so I'm watching a little bit of the "Counting Cars" marathon on History, and it's the episode with Cassandra Peterson, man is she still ever so beautiful.

You're welcome, Cochise. I am decently open-minded when it comes to music....well, I can't stand that much that I hear on the radio. haha..... But I have been known to enjoy the different 'genres', but the end of the day I am a punk rock kid(Though I admittedly do not like labeling bands, because much like people they all grow and change.). I do hope you dig them whenever you give them a chance, and yeah man I can't wait to sit down and watch this documentary.

^ seriously guys, for real. Like what? The Desolation of Smaug. It is THE part everyone was excited for The Hobbit in the first place... the giant dragon.

Yet in the movie in the trilogy with his name on it... we get a barrel statue? I don't get it at all. It's actually kind of annoying. Even a badass bust of just Smaug's head. Though that money shot from the trailer of Bilbo hiding against the wall and Smaug's massive head coming around the corner would've made for an awesome statue... come on, what gives PJ

XSsoCX
XSsoCX at 08:03 PM Oct 21

"Though that money shot from the trailer of Bilbo hiding against the wall and Smaug's massive head."

EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING! That would make for a perfect statue......

I'll be getting 22 Jump Street for sure. Yet again I'm pissed that there is no exclusive digibook for Desolation of Smaug to go along with the one I got for An Unexpected Journey.

I love having the new Tim Hortons right down on the corner of the highway I live on, especially with the temperature dropping. I think I am going to go get a Pumpkin Pie Latte before I start some movie marathoning.

Yeah, but I live in (the real.) Upstate New York, I am three hours north of Syracuse, and five minutes from the Ontario border. My town has two Timmys actually, one in town and another out where I live. But they are definitely turning up in the States.

Random horror question: Obviously we would all like to stay clear of all of our favorite horror characters/creatures, but if they were real which horror icon would you least like to be the prey of? Would it be Michael, Freddy, zombies, Pennywise, Xenomorphs, or someone/something else?
XSsoCX
XSsoCX at 01:37 PM Oct 21

Great choices, guys and gal.

I think I would have to go with Freddy. I don't find the movies scary(still entertaining of course.), but if he were real, the thought of not being able to sleep and have to fight to stay away. I mean, I love coffee, but even I hit my limits. Haha.

YoshioKun13
YoshioKun13 at 12:14 PM Oct 22

Zombies

Think it's cause I prob share a similar fear someone else here had mentioned of being eaten alive. Good point about Freddy though.

XSsoCX
XSsoCX at 07:21 PM Oct 22

As many people say "Man a zombie apocalypse would be soooo cool", but honestly fuck that. People would turn into their darkest self. Reverting back to primitive ways, and you could never really truth anyone new again.

Alright that little Cena/Ambrose Superman and Batman segment on RAW was pretty entertaining.

I really hate when you are watching a movie and the movie starts to freeze. Especially near the end and I have to try and find the right chapter to pick to try and get around the skip, but not go to far and ruin it.
XSsoCX
XSsoCX at 06:47 PM Oct 20

Thankfully I was able to get the disc to play for the rest of the movie. I just gave it a little cleaning and it was fine. I am still going to shot Netflix a message though so they can double check it.

YoshioKun13
YoshioKun13 at 11:03 AM Oct 22

I experienced that most recently with BAD GRANDPA.

Couldn't get the disc to play without missing a good chunk so I had to just download the movie in order to watch the rest. Terrible.

XSsoCX
XSsoCX at 07:22 PM Oct 22

It just takes you out of the movie, sadly.
