If you're walking into War Horse expecting something the likes of Saving Private Ryan, viewer beware. This is a very different kind of war film, bloodless yet not without plentiful casualties, and sweeping while very intimate, ignoring the larger workings of The Great War and focusing entirely on Joey the horse and the lives he touches from one end of the war to the other. fucking fierce. when i was 19 i was eating ice cream all night and making bagel sandwiches and watching Star Wars instead of doing my homework at a community college (for a class i failed twice - high school level algebra). this guy is gonna turn out 100 times better than me and i came from a right wing evangelical christian family.
Work that suit! How you can be against happy couples raising well-loved kids is beyond me.
There are so many needy kids out there it's amazing to me that there is any resistance to place them in loving homes. Do gay people break up more frequently than straight people? Are they less responsable? It's senseless.
