I liked Silver Linings Playbook. I can understand the criticism it gets for trying to take an honest look at mental illness but becoming more of a conventional rom-com by the end (especially considering the Ernest Hemingway rant seemed to foreshadow a ballsier ending). That said, great performances from Cooper and Lawrence; the dance practice and competition scenes are a delight, and Lawrence's blowup at De Niro was worth the Oscar alone.
