Our apartment has two tv's, one in the living room with the DVR and one in her room. She is doing HW in the living room and I asked if I could watch my show that I DVRed earlier but she is too busy doing work that she needs to get done and can't do it in her room instead because "its too messy". What?

Just tell him/her - if you are close it shouldn't be a probelm and even if you are not you're totally in the right. She has her OWN room.Strees that part to her. Lol, I can't believe they've taken over the living room. How rude!
