I love MEW and Joel so it was nice having them in the same movie.
Obviously it can't hold up to the original but it wasn't nearly as bad as some people made it out to be. I enjoyed watching it.
I wanted to like it and don't agree with a lot of the 'complaints' that people have against it, but for me the poor CG ruined it for me. It wasn't the worst of the worst, but it was a movie with a ton of potential that didn't capitalize on much of it
I haven't even seen this movie yet, but that seems like an awfully mighty generous score.
I've gotta see this movie for myself.. Almost caught it in the theater when it came out.
Well put WalkAway. As a creature feature it does it's job really well. I liked it.
I didn't like this much when I first saw it but, I 've given it another chance and agree that once the "I can't believe they dared prequelize Carpenter's classic" wears off, I find I don't mind it that much. Still had problems but, it can be entertaing to a degree.
it's not the ' Complete waste ' it's been made out to be . It's a middle of the Road Monster Movie ,with sequences that are Entertaining , just begs the question ' WHY ' ??

I agree. It's nowhere near as awful as so many make it out to be, and I enjoyed watching it as well. Once you stop comparing every little detail to Carpenter's, it isn't bad.
