Nimrod Antal and Robert Rodriguez have more than made up for the AVP movies and Predator 2. Predators is exactly what I wanted out of this franchise since I saw the original for the first time.
We begin the movie with the characters in free fall. Parachutes deploy, and the characters land and meet one another. They each have at least one great character moment, and then they begin their quest to escape this unknown jungle.
This movie succeeded in doing something that hasn't been done since the first Predator... it made the Predators scary again. There were a few scenes in this movie where I actually felt the tension and fear that the characters were feeling, and it made me that much more invested in their journey.
Adrian Brody is extremely bad-ass in this role. I was expecting him to be good, but I wasn't expecting this. Every revelation he makes throughout the film is chilling, and allows you to appreciate how terrifying this guy would be if he weren't on your side. He's cold, calculating, and intelligent, and we get the feeling that without him, our characters would all be dead already.
There's a moment in this film where you see a Predator in shackles, and you realize that the creature we were so terrified of in the first film isn't even the scariest Predator out there. It's a great moment, and it amps up the tension for the rest of the movie. Every subsequent scene is a lot of fun, and I can say that I'm proud to be a Predator fan once again.
Its the nearest thing to true sequel i think we can expect and i think it could be the start of a trilogy.I would love too see what is on the other side of the reserve.

Awesome! Definitely looking forward to it
