Thank you! I figured the cat would be a nice touch.
Even though the only pet I have at home is a dog, she behaves like a cat. Many of my friends consider me a cat person anyway.
R.I.P. Satoshi Kon (1963-2010) - Thank you for Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress, Tokyo Godfathers, and Paprika.

I found out about this from Benzaie of thatguywiththeglasses.com.
The man's work will still be looked upon as great achievements in animation in the years to come. It's not only sad that he has passed, but also because a great talent is now gone.
My condolences go to his family and to those that were close to him.
I didn't realize he was only 47yrs old! :o
My God, to think of all the great and wonderful films that he surely would have made that will never be. It also got me thinking....what if Miyazaki, who's like in his 70s now, had passed on at that age. Think of all the great films of his we would've been denied!
47 is far too young.
We would have missed out on so much if Miyazaki passed at that age. If the world never got to see Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Ponyo, Porco Rosso, or... God, that's too sad to think about.

Here's a film that would have fit perfectly with the 2007 release of Grindhouse. I wish that Black Dynamite had been worked on enough so that a trailer would have been featured along with the faux trailers in Grindhouse. (Although one of those faux trailers, Machete, is being made into a full-length feature...[more]...

just saw the restored version of Metropolis in Chicago. My first time seeing it. Fantastic movie! Riveting from start to finish.

Thank you, mister easter! Glad you liked it.
Yeah, I love the song. Great song from a very good Danny Boyle flick.
needs to watch more Hitchcock.
Absolutely. I've only seen Vertigo, Rear Window, The Birds, and Psycho. Even I am sorely disappointed with the fact that I've never seen The Man Who Knew Too Much, Rope, Spellbound, The 39 Steps, Lady Vanishes, or his Oscar-winning flick, Rebecca.
is listening to Rant in E-Minor. Good stuff. Hicks, you're the best!

One may completely despise this film when they see it the first time. I know I did on my first go-around with Miami Vice. To this day, I still know of people who flat-out hate this movie...[more]...

LOL
It's the cat in the background that really makes this image awesome.
