A great quadrilogy :) I'm so glad there was no crappy sequel made after Alien 3 ;) If it was made, I'm sure it would be hideous!
Like the movie itself though, PROMETHEUS......just, doesn't quite fit in with the other 3 as perfectly as one might hope.
Still more acceptable, than the other alternative for a 4th movie.

bkmovie, lol I know of Alien Resurrection :P I was being sarcastic, because I have a major hatred for the sequel. I'm glad you like it though. Every movie needs its fans (unless it is directed by Friedberg and Seltzer...fuck those guys).

Though I've learned something fairly disturbing about ALIEN RESURRECTION. Aside from being an utter abomination........the movie, is a lie.

Take Alien 3 out and make it the perfect trilogy. Well, until Paradise (Prometheus 2) comes out then everything's screwed... though actually no, then we'd have the perfect quadrilogy probably haha
You put Ripley into one of them PROMETHEUS movies, then it can rightfully belong with those other 3...
I can go either way with it being a trilogy or a quadrilogy (until the sequel to Prometheus comes out) because 1. Having it be the Trilogy (A1,A2,Prom) will be revolving around the theme of the derelict,space jockey, and alien. OR 2. The quadrilogy so it can go through all of Ripley's story and her end with the Alien, then move onto the new story in Prometheus.
Pick whatever, just depends on how you see it.
Yeah prior to watching PROMETHEUS I proposed the notion that it, ALIEN and ALIENS could be its own trilogy(similar to STAR TREK II, III and IV or HALLOWEEN 4, 5 and 6), solely based around the Derelict/Space Jockey. Then, of course I soon learned that it's not actually the same ship that's on LV-426 in the other 2 films.
Eh, I guess it could still work being that PROMETHEUS has a Derelict ship and Space Jockey.
The 4th is an abortion but I love the first 2 (and enjoy the third)
