Yikes, I've been away far too long. But I had to come back to just give a resounding yes to Harry Potter. For 12 years, half my life, this series has been a part of me and now it's finally over. It feels weird.

Fincher would be good, but I think Lynch would give it that creepy personal feeling that it needs. Dark, dreary, fucked up shit.
I really like the Momento idea. It would do those flashes between justice. Del Toro would be good because of the sort of disconnection with reality that the book has. It's a world you can see yourself living in but at the same time it almost seems mythic.
The codes could flash on the screen like shit does in Fight Club, which I adored.
Damnit, let's write the screenplay and schmooze with Fincher, Toro, and Lynch. Lynch would adore this book if he read it I think.
House of Leaves probably is my favorite book. When I read it the first time I instantly thought that it would be a great plot for a movie, but when I read it again I wasn't so sure.
Reasons: There are two separate stories going on which are intertwined but I don't know that you could adapt it into a screenplay where both stories would get the attention they need. Another thing is the hallway...you know how many directors would f' that? You'd have to get Del Toro to team up with someone to do this in my opinion. Another big thing is the txt and codes, that's such a major part of why it's so great to me...which obviously couldn't be translated.
lol so ur thoughts?
Word, we're mask brothers now! And happy belated schmoe of the day!

I actually do know where Medford is. And I'm only like an hour and 20 minutes from both Medford and River Falls. I'm probably closer to Medford then I am to River Falls though. Do you know where Chetek is? I live in Chetek. It's about 40 miles north of Eau Claire, or 14 miles south of Rice Lake if you know where either of those towns are. Lets meet up and smoke up sometime!
Hey thanks dude! And you can bet that I most definitely celebrated accordingly!
And where at in Wisconsin do you live man??

i love sarah michelle gellar. i wish other ppl didnt hate her so much.
