Ladies and gentlemen, the best Spiderman film since Spiderman 2. There are a lot of positives. The main villain was pretty fucking good. The Vulture's motivations are pretty weak and we have seen this many times, but Keaton's performance was pretty damn good. You can tell he's having a good time playing him and I hope to see Keaton in the MCU's future. This is Marvel's best villain since Loki. Shocker was pretty much a henchmen and the Tinkerer is main there to build weapons. Both actors did pretty good jobs. Robert Downey Jr is still nice to see on screen and did some pretty good acting. Flash Thompson is basically a rich kid douche bag which was okay. The love interest was meh. Peter's friend Ned was pretty solid and Zendaya was really funny in this. Tom Holland makes a great Spiderman. This is the best version of Spiderman and Peter Parker I have ever seen. He's funny, awkward and kicks ass. You can tell effort was put into this and yet at the same time it feels a bit rushed. This could explain the pretty simple plot, which is done pretty well. Overall, it has heart. It's well directed and well acted. The action scenes are pretty good, not spectacular, but pretty damn decent. I fucking enjoy the hell out of this movie. It's a breath of fresh air and I hope they improve some of the flaws in the upcoming sequel. It's well worth the money.
