I was anticipating a pretty creepy horror film, but instead it's a slow burn post apocalyptic paranoia with a touch of horror. Damn you misleading trailers! Okay in all honesty, I did really like the movie. The movie is a slow burner, that's mostly grim. I have a bunch to talk about this film, but I can't spoil it. I'll talk about the usual stuff. The film was shot really well and it looked nice. The acting was pretty damn good, as well as the writing. It's a well made movie, but people might get pissed because of the misleading trailers. The film has some faults. Some of the nightmare scenes could have been done better and I wish I knew more about the threats of their world. You may or may not like the movie. I recommend you go and watch it, take a gamble with our cash and time. If you see it, then you and me can have a more detailed conversation. Overall, it was a really well made movie. Good writing, acting and direction. It can be pretty grim, but it manages to keep me invested, wondering what could be next. Some of the scenes could have been done better and the threats of this world could have been explained a little more. The mystery about it kept me engaged, but maybe a little more info won't break the spell. I liked it a lot and I hope you see it and judge it yourself.
