I still prefer a Carnage movie over Venom.

Phil Lord and Chris Miller exited the Han Solo flick, in the middle of production. I have a bad feeling about this.

Goodman's The Big Lebowski performance permanently plays in all of our minds, and his Trumbo performance elevates the movie even higher than its already high quality.

Cube 2: Hypercube is definitely not as good as the first. It tries to up the ante, but it doesn't succeed. The cgi effects was typical 90's eyesores, it added multiple timelines and alternate dimensions. It would have been fine with just the group of characters they had, some different traps and something new to add that isn't totally out there. I give it a 5/10.

My sister did an amazing job at her softball tournament today. Team lost though, but she still did a great job.

Daddy's Home is an okay movie, a 6 out of 10 at best. It wasn't terrible, it was just okay. The trailer for the sequel came out today and it looks okay. I will be watching it because of Mel fucking Gibson.

It Comes at Night

Directed by: Trey Edward Shults
Written by: Trey Edward Shults
Cast: Joel Edgerton, Riley Keough, Christopher Abbott, Carmen Ejogo
Studio: A24
Genre: Horror, Mystery
Official Site:

I was anticipating a pretty creepy horror film, but instead it's a slow burn post apocalyptic paranoia with a touch of horror. Damn you misleading trailers! Okay in all honesty, I did really like the movie. The movie is a slow burner, that's mostly grim. I have a bunch to talk about this film, but I can't spoil it. I'll talk about the usual stuff. The film was shot really well and it looked nice. The acting was pretty damn good, as well as the writing. It's a well made movie, but people might get pissed because of the misleading trailers. The film has some faults. Some of the nightmare scenes could have been done better and I wish I knew more about the threats of their world. You may or may not like the movie. I recommend you go and watch it, take a gamble with our cash and time. If you see it, then you and me can have a more detailed conversation. Overall, it was a really well made movie. Good writing, acting and direction. It can be pretty grim, but it manages to keep me invested, wondering what could be next. Some of the scenes could have been done better and the threats of this world could have been explained a little more. The mystery about it kept me engaged, but maybe a little more info won't break the spell. I liked it a lot and I hope you see...[more]...

These are all good comic book movies. However, American Splendor especially needs a mention on a public list. Too many people have never seen that one.

I am a big fan of The Evil Within. Despite its flaws, I highly enjoyed the game. I'm looking foward to the sequel this October.
