The Disaster Artist

Directed by: James Franco
Written by: Scott Neustadter
Cast: James Franco, Dave Franco, Zac Efron, Josh Hutcherson, Kate Upton, Ari Graynor, Jacki Weaver, Sharon Stone
Studio: New Line Cinema
Genre: Comedy, Drama
Official Site:

James Franco has directed movies before this, most of them were not good. This however is a major step up for James Franco as a director. The directing was pretty good and the movie was well written.

The acting was great. The two leads James and Dave Franco were both excellent as Tommy and Greg. The supporting cast was pretty good and I did like some of the cameos in the movie. This movie has some pretty funny moments and it has some great drama in it.

The movie made me feel for Wiseau. I mean despite being clueless and sometimes being a prick, Wiseau is a man who had the passion to make something. The Room came from the heart. We all mock the film and Wiseau, but lets give them credit where credit is due. The Room is other worldly terrible, but it came from the heart.

The movie managed to make me feel bad for Wiseau. It was interesting to see how frustrated everyone was while making The Room.

Overall, The Disaster Artist is a great movie about the making of one of the worst movies. It was interesting, funny and dramatic. The directing, writing and acting were all solid. I highly recommend you see this movie.

Happy news! The Disaster Artist will be tomorrow's flick. The Last Jedi will be Saturday's flick. I'm pumped to see both.

The Big Sick got snubbed and Logan got no love.

Get Out is a horror movie with some humorous moments. It's not a full blown comedy.

Oh come on, don't you remember that hilarious sequence where Chris is hypotised and can't move? Or how about the great scene where the white folk take over black people's bodies, I laughed my ass off with that.

definitely a head scratcher , that .

If Disney get the rights to the X-Men, they better keep up the R rated material. This is something I worry about.
LelekPL at 05:47 PM Dec 07

they most definitely won't.

I would love them to keep FOX's approach and KEEP the mutant and MCU universes seperate but that won't happen

Before the epic Infinity War is released, Black Panther comes out in February. Black Panther looks sleek and cool and I do hope that it doesn't disappoint.

I'm excited to see an entirely new world in the MCU. Wakanda looks pretty damn awesome.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

Directed by: Martin McDonagh
Written by: Martin McDonagh
Cast: Woody Harrelson, Frances McDormand, Sam Rockwell, Abbie Cornish, Caleb Jones, Peter Dinklage, John Hawkes
Genre: Crime, Drama
Official Site:

This movie had many things going for it. The directing was great, the writing was great and the acting was fucking amazing. Francis McDormand plays one hell of a character that can be funny and brutal. Woody Harrelson did a fantastic job in the movie. Sam Rockwell does a fantastic job in this movie. The supporting cast did great in their roles. The movie can be funny, but also dark. I laugh one moment and then my mood drops in the next. I was totally invested.

Overall, I fucking loved it. Everything about it was good. Acting, writing, directing, story, character, laughs and it doesn't shy from dark moments. This is mandatory viewing.
