My Top Ten Horror Performances

1. Donald Pleasance as Dr. Loomis (Halloween) - Grew up on these films and Pleasance took them to the next level for me. Loath Malcolm McDowell as Loomis
2. Tim Curry as Pennywise (It) - Cannot look at clowns to this day, because of him.
3. Jack Nickolson as Jack Torrance (The Shining) - Nicholson is the master of playing crazy
4. Bruce Campbell as Ash (Army of Darkness) - The change Ash makes throughout the films is epic. Who doesn't love Campbell for this?
5. Jamie Kennedy as Randy (Scream) - Every horror fan can easily relate to this character.
6. Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger (A Nightmare on Elm Street) - Arguably the best horror villain of all-time. Icon would be the best way to describe him.
7. Christian Bale as Patrick Bateman (American Psycho) - The raincoat scene is one of the best in cinema history.
8. Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode (Halloween) - The original and best scream queen.
9. Anthony Perkins as Norman Bates (Psycho) - What a chilling turn Perkins made in Psycho. It's too bad it completely killed the rest of his career.
10. Kurt Russell as Macready (The Thing) - If this list were about the best beards he would be number 1.

Murder Mystery Character Info

100_1056
1. Name: T.J. Lunsford "The Rising Star"
2. Age: 52
3. Would be Played By in a Movie: Humphrey Bogart
4. Basic Info: T.J. Lunsford used to be the biggest star in Hollywood, but has fallen on hard times recently due to his obvious alcoholism. He knows his career is about to end, if he doesn't get a big role soon.
5. Aspirations: He has secretly always wanted to direct, but has never been stable enough mentally. First, he must resurrect his fading star.
6. Fears: Being forgotten by the business and the fans that once worshipped him.
7. Strengths: Is an amazing actor and is known for his ability to memorize lines at the drop of a hat.
8. Weaknesses: Has a big head and generally dislikes everyone who has started to replace him in the roles he would have gotten in the past. The only person he trusts is his agent Thatswhatshesaid, but he has a soft spot in his heart for Walkaway, because he helped discover her. He can't seem to break away from the hooch, and is too drunk to realize its way to hot outside to be wearing a suit.
9. Why They Could Be a Killer: Funkhauser once promised him the world and guaranteed that he would be the biggest star in the world forever if he followed his direction. Obviously, this hasn't panned out in recent years and T.J. could be looking for revenge.
10. Remember...: He once had a legion of fans, and there are a few that still worship him. Would one of them kill for him? I think so.

#101 SUCKED!!!

grelber37
grelber37 at 05:58 PM May 30

#18 You and my dad could watch this one. He loves the politics, action, and melodrama (drama set to a soundtrack).
#40 Rocky is lower than Rocky IV, eh? :)
#56 Kick-ass! This movie is a kick-ass entry in both franchises. And, the film marks Englund's last turn as Freddy.
#71 Everyone should see this On the Waterfront. Everyone "could have been a contender." And, we could all bravely make a difference yet.
#85 Your list has got have this one. Cool Hand Luke teaches viewers so much about so much. I used to show it to students. And, the film's images, dialogue, and performances are iconic.
#91 Thanks for recommending it. The story will speak to a lot of people. Every viewer has the urge to pursue some adventure. Every young man goes wandering. And, Into the Wild tells the true story of what can happen--both the affirming and the difficult.
