Review:

Lance Henriksen is a father in a small backwoods town, whose whole world comes crashing down when a group of teens from the city accidentally kill his young son , while prepping for their weekend of Motocross action . Grief stricken, he heads into the woods outside of town to find a Witch, who has the ability to summon a giant Demonic Creature , a force of vengeance with an appetite for carnage . He is told to make sure this is what he wants , because once summoned, Pumpkinhead can't be stopped until the deeds are done. After given the green light, the Creature is summoned and the carnage begins , but soon after, Henriksen realizes the error he's made and tries to stop the Monster before it's too late. Henriksen gives another great performance , and gets top billing , but the Star is really Stan Winston's Pumpkinhead , a brilliantly realized Monster , from the Make-up Master , and first time Director , himself . Old-school Monster Movie Gold , Pumpkinhead is required viewing for all fans of the Genre .
