One of my long-time homies, ' CHUNK ' , has a list containing what he refers to as the ' FEROCIOUS FIVE ' of French Horror Cinema. On this list , you will find the five films that catapulted the French into the top spot of Horror supremacy... '' MARTYRS '' , '' INSIDE '' , '' HAUTE TENSION '' , '' ILS(' THEM ' ) '' , and this little puppy, '' Frontier(s) '' . Besides the obvious , these Flicks are all examples of ' EURO- GORE ' , the extreme, balls-to-the-wall , nobody's safe , chillers that assault the senses, leaving the viewer reeling . '' FRONTIER(S) '' tells the tale of a group of criminals , during the proposed overthrow of the Government , who are fleeing authorities after a gun battle with Police leaves one of the crew dead. The remaining members split up , agreeing to meet in a designated location, in the French countryside . Farid and Tom find a country inn , and decide to stay the night. After Tom indulges in a little ' slap and tickle ' session, with a pair of sisters who run the Inn along with their family, the pair meet the older brother , who's less than enthused with our young desperados , tossing racial taunts at Farid , and repeatedly slapping Tom , once he learns of their swag . The duo escape , and take off with a brother in pursuit . The others , Yasmina, who's pregnant , and Alex , the child's father , and ex-boyfriend , reach the Inn , and soon take up a fight for their lives as well , after meeting the Family Father, a neo-Nazi . Xavier Gens , has come up with a suspenseful , twisted, Motion Picture , that will leave memories of the unpleasant events before us , for some time after the Film ends. While '' Frontier(s) '' isn't a completely original film, and road maps really aren't needed to tell where all this is going, the eclectic characters, bleak, washed out visuals , and some very memorable moments , make this a definite on your '' to see '' list. The entire cast are outstanding, with nobody sticking out, dragging the others down with them , with special mention going to the Father , and our Heroine , Yasmina . Some extremely disturbing scenes , though not nearly as horrific as '' MARTYRS '' or '' INSIDE '' , and great cinematography, showing both the beauty of the French countryside , and the bleak, urban destruction , of Paris , make '' Frontier(s) '' , one trip into Hell, that you're going to want to take part in !!

I love this movie so much
