Top Five Terrible Films That I Dig

Prob could do a a top ten but can't be bothered doing the research right now.
In no particular order:

BATMAN & ROBIN: Dude it's fucking hilarious, you have the excellent puns (Youre not sending Me to da Coola), If you watch them in reverse order it's kinda like going from the 60's era adam west batman going into the Frank Miller era in the Michael Keaton films (give or take). Plus it makes the transition into the Nolan films a lot easier than going very Dark to blinding light back to very dark again.

Star Wars Episode 1: Before I start getting death threats relax, I'm not a fan, I've not seen the Original trilogy in like 10 years but Darth Maul is in the top 20 bad guys of all time and he hardly did anything apart from have an epic fucking fight scene. Oh and Jar Jar is the fucking man!

GI Joe: Again not a Joe fanboy so be gentle, Rachel Nichols is FINE, again Ray Park owns the fight scenes even if his mask has lips, not quite nipples on the bat suit but odd still. If the film ended in Paris it would have been great it's just the Dr Evil base ending that ruined it a little. Can't wait for the sequel though.

Meet The Spartans: Just kidding.

LXG - Once again my ignorance is probably a blessing as i own the book but haven't read it. I don't find it as terrible as people say it is. OK the Mr Hyde effects are terrible, and most of the cast are miscast but i did like Stuart Townsend as Dorian Gray and Tony Curran as the Invisible Man (His parts in the cut and past DVD commentary are really good) and i really like the style of the car and the Nautilus (sorry for fucking up the spelling if i did).

Punisher/ Punisher War Zone: I have a couple of Punisher books and I can't see how this character can be put in a film as a main protagonist. He is completely amoral and psychotic with a constant scowl. Ray Stephenson and Thomas Jane both done pretty good jobs at portraying the character and we got some pretty good kills (rocket launcher anyone?). The only thing that really annoyed me about the films were the villians (especially in warzone) it's like the were meant for other things, jigsaw and his crew were so comical that they would have fit in Batman and Robin and John Travolta looks like he should have been on Jersey Shore.

Others that I could have put in are films like Bad Boys 2, Transformers 2, Shooter, The Score and Hudson Hawk. What can I say? I must be the lowest common denomination that movie producers aim for.

Fire at will.

Acknowledging that something is rubbish but finding enjoyment in it anyway is the definition of "guilty pleasure". Nothing wrong with that -- I have more than I can probably even list.

The Punisher with Tom Jane was good.

Shooter was awesome too.
