Dr. Samuel Beckett never leapt home again. *tear*

Seriously one of the best shows ever, especially for not giving us, a "hollywood" ending.

Love this show.
Don't want to get all Quantum Leap nerd on you Jekupka but Dr. Samuel Beckett kinda did leap home. Spoiler: (just incase) Season 4 episode 1, lightning strike which cause Sam and Al to switch places (he goes back in to save Al).
Also it kinda did have a "hollywood" ending, in that Sam gives up his long time friend and sole companion (Al) so Al can be with his "true love". And Sam continues to leap and do "god's" work. The only fucked up part is his ditches his wife after she had been waiting five years to get him back. That was cold blooded.

^^ Why you gotta fuck with my memories like that? j/k

Yeah I know but the ending everybody wanted was for him to leap home for good, and they didn't get it. Which is the important thing.

That is so true. I would have loved to see him finally get to go home, but there was just so much he had left to do. So many things to fix
