Let me start off by saying that I am not a fan of Iron Man. The first movie was good yes, I gave it the same rating as I did this one. However, if this had some minor changes to it, I would have judged it higher. As a character, Iron Man is hit and miss a lot and unlikeable most of the time. The saving grace for our modern Iron Man is Robert Downey Jr. He really captures the essence of the billionaire playboy who has this much power at his hands. He tries to make himself into a God almost by "saving" the world with his Iron Man suit. In this new installment of the franchise we get a bit more focus on the world impact of Iron Man and are even introduced to several other Marvel movies that were either filming or released at the time.
