So now that I have seen Iron Man 3, I have been reading some other folks thoughts on what could be different and have determined that most "professional" writers on the internet have no fucking idea how to actually put a story together.
Defo. Agree 100% Always interested to see what they think but most of the time they talk out their ass.
My main problem with it is that it went in one ear and out the other. It did nothing unique, nothing different and nothing particularly clever. Its fun while you watch it then when's it over it leaves no lasting impression. It toys with interesting ideas but then the movie can't get away from them fast enough. Also the villain and the plot surrounding it has no explanation and no reason. The basic concept of the villain is "I'm a bad guy and I wanna do bad things". What is interesting about that?
I'm not saying its a bad movie, like I said its fun while you watch it, but for me once it ended I just moved on with my life because it left no impression.

My lady surprised me with a run to the movies last night (Though she made me pay) and I finally saw Iron Man 3. My favorite of the series, I thought it was a funny and action packed thrill ride. I see why some people had some issues, but I thought they all worked. My only wish for the movie is that they had more War Machine. Since Marvel will not do a War Machine solo flick it seems, I won't be getting my wish anytime soon

Season 7 of Doctor Who is a very disappointing. I loved a few of Clara's episodes and the last 30 seconds was cool, but no thanks. This was disappointing.
It wasn't what I thought it would be and although the actress is great Clara has been giving nothing to do at all.

If the news is true that J.J. Abrams and Bad Robot got upset because CBS kept making memorabilia about the original cast of Star Trek, then I am not quite sure what I think, but it is not good.
Christopher Nolan getting contacted about Bond is amazing though
I guess we know why Abrams really wanted to get in on STAR WARS now...
I just can't believe the name they went with...
