I loved that Evil Dead told its own story while winking at the original. It came off as sequel as opposed to a remake. Loved it! Review up tomorrow! PS: Stay tuned till after the end credits, we get a little surprise.

Rant about married dudes I know.
Things I hear from dudes around me who are married (things they should keep in-house btw, not sure why you're sharing this with other dudes, have some fucking pride):
"My wife is always right"
"Happy wife, happy life"
"Let me ask my wife if I'm allowed to -fill in the blank-".
"Sorry I can't, my wife won't let me".
Not sure what happens to "men" after they say "I do" these days, but if I ever get married and start spewing drivel like that, I give my close friends the permission to beat THE EVER LIVING SHIT out of me with aluminum baseball bats.

It is quite pathetic. I have seem a lot of men, with wives and girlfriends like that. I don't see either the appeal of having a relationship with a man that cannot stand by himself.
Funny! lol It's not just men though. I know a lot of women that practically obey their ambitious-less dumb ass boyfriends or husbands. It's just sad how a lot of people in general let relationships define their misery and yet do nothing about it because they rather the company.

There was a Rocky GiJoe? What the...!
Instead of Rocky, the Joes got Sgt. Slaughter instead. He was a character from elsewhere who became part of the Hasbro toyline. I guess that trade-off is still kind of cool. Slaughter was cool as a person. I saw him wrestle live a couple times.

I got Slaughter and the Fridge figures as a kid, I would have totally got this one if they released it.

When I was a kid I was in awe of the Bates house and Motel on the Universal Studios tour. I just wanted to hop off the bus and run up to that house. Was I alone?

Definitely. There are so many spots on that tour where I wanted to jump off and see it up close.

Choppy editing, shoddy action scenes (close shots plus quick cuts = blurry), clunky pacing and countless missed opportunities, GI Joe 2 was a let down for me. Too bad cause The Rock, Adrianne Palicki, Bruce Willis and most of the cast owned it... boooooo! PS: Where was Destro yo!
I enjoyed the movie for the most part but there were missed opportunities. The Destro thing was one of my biggest gripes too.
I'm not really into GI JOE but I enjoyed the 1st movie. No Destro though? That's phooey!
