NOt seen them but they get good write ups - on my list of "I really must get around to seeing them sometime"!
Cold Prey is a personal favorite of mine. It's nothing groundbreaking and is rather predictable. But the characters are well developed and the directing is fantastic...and gives us a great new final girl to root for. I say watch it!
I have also seen only the first 2, and Dragon Tattoo is clearly better. I'll check out part 3 soon.
I've seen all three, and I have to say all three films are great in my opinion...but I prefer Hornet's Nest to Played with Fire. The first one, is my favorite.
Damn do I ever agree with you on all of this. Creative kills and sleazy sex are a must. And you are spot on about setting it in the snow. That could add so much to the film while really it's just a small touch. Besides, who isn't down for some blood drenched executions in the frost?

I'd say Dragon Tattoo because Noomie Rapace=sexy as all hell. and Killer Inside Me is a great movie ruined by a lame ending.
It's been too long since I've had a Bond marathon...December/January feels like a good time to do it.
I've been wanting to do this quite a bit too. Maybe in January I'll do a Bond movie a night.

Truly a great man. A legend really. And that movie really is an amazing study of Gen. Patton.
It's pretty good, not great though and it seems to focus more on the characters than they do on the blood and gore. So yeah, you should see it, it's a good way to kill two hours.
