What's with all these plastic battle suits? Whatever happened to good ol' tights?
Anyway, looks fresh.
Also, whatever happened to the slang word "fresh?"
:D

Exactly Weapon X, that whole Daily Planet scene was Donner's work and that is the actual line Christopher Reeve says. As much as I love Donner's cut, I must admit that "Would you care to step outside" is so much more awesome.
^ Agreed.
There are quite a few things I don't care for in Donner's cut, that being one among them.
"With all this accumulated knowledge, when will these dummies learn to use a doorknob?"
I watched both films back to back last night, Superman II and Superman II, the Donner Cut. No contest for me the Donner Cut is my fav. The stupid humor/sight gags in Lester's version were a weakness and so were all the new powers (teleportation, finger beam, giant plastic S net etc.)
And even though Lester's cut has more action, the pace is tighter in the Donner version. Also, the baddies are scarier and meaner in the Donner Cut and the overall tone is more in line with the original. I do agree that the "Step Outside" line is the better one though, it also goes in tandem with the line Clark tells the truck driver bully.
As for the turn back time ending in Donner's cut, yes it sucks, but so does the magic kiss ending in Lester's version. NOTE: Another big plus for the Donner Cut: Marlon Brando.

I think John Ottman did a fantastic job with the soundtrack. This is my favorite track along with 'Rough Flight' and 'Main Titles', of course.

great score, but I didn't like this track over the credits myself, would've preferred it without the singing
