I guess Man of Steel haters have forgotten that in the beloved Superman II (1980), Supes threw a power-less Zod into a an icy crevasse with a freaking smile on his face, sending him to his death. Supes had a choice in that movie, he could have taken Zod in, his powers were gone, how come no flack for that?
