#1 Movie of All-Time
Going to finally check out "The Artist" tomorrow. Can't wait!
Excuse me but where is Jessica Chastian's Golden Schmoe nod?
Chastain deserves some recognition. She had a great year. Another Schmoe and I wondered where she was too. But, look at some of her fine performances: The Debt, Tree of Life, Texas Killing Fields, The Help. Those films are all either obscure, or they are not really Schmoe movies (e.g. The Help).
Still, she deserved a nomination. She selects challenging roles and performs them very well. Maybe, her next projects will get Schmoeville's general attention.
Okay, I've now seen 8 of the 9 Best Picture Oscar nominees so far. The only one I have see now is "The Artist". Which I'm gonna check it out in the next few days.
The trailer for "The Amazing Spider-Man" looks really good but I still stand by the fact that Spider-Man doesn't need to be "dark and gritty" though.
Yes. But I never saw anything in his Spider-Man films that resembled camp. Comic booky yes, but not camp.
I'm just reading the cast list for the upcoming film "Small Apartments" and it may have the weirdest cast ever put together for a film ever. It stars: Juno Temple, Billy Crystal, James Caan, Johnny Knoxville, Peter Stormare, Rebel Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Saffron Burrows, Amanda Plummer, D.J. Qualls, Matt Lucas, Rosie Perez and David Koechner. Wow.
A Commercial That To Be Seen To Be Believed lol

Now I feel the need to get Direct TV to see if they show up at my house and help me open presents
I see " Battleship" going two-ways: it's either going to be one of the year's worst films or it's going to be the guilty pleasure of the year.
It looks like a Transformers sequel. Should've just named it something else, saved some credibility. I'v played Battleship many times. I don't remember: aliens, Liam Neeson OR Rihanna in the damned game. Boo on this.
Just watched the Super Bowl extended trailer of "The Avengers"... I think I just filled the cup lol.
For some bizarre reason I'm watching some short films that I was involved in from a few years ago.
Just finished watching "The Descendants". I absolutely bloody loved it! It definitely has a spot in my official top 10 films of 2011 list for sure.

No wonder he's so much fun in real life, some of his BTS footage for STAR TREK was hilarious.
Had another pretty epic argument/debate with SuperMarcey on the podcast today (this time for "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" remake). Luckily it didn't get as bad as our infamous "Grace" debate lol.
I'm certain me and Suit will likewise have a similar battle on our show about it. I must defend the merits, of Fincher's version.
David Fincher Ranked
FIGHT CLUB will always be his best to me.
Really, 9 movies and not one suckfest in the entire bunch.

Good. You might be seeing 2011's Best Picture. The Artist deserves the honor if it gets it. Enjoy the show.
