In reality, the plot of "ATM" would be over in twenty minutes. There are three people in the booth and one man. Simply scatter, and haul ass. He can't chase everyone at the same time. One person tries for the car, while the others run looking for someone to help them. I mean come on, now. Unless he's Darth Maul he can't take all three down at once.
Why even park far away from the ATM? I'd park right up to the door and wait in the goddamn car.
Exactly, this isn't an office building where people take the stairs instead of the elevator to get some exercise lol And none of them brought their cellphones with them?!
The man who was walking his dog..My dogs prefer grass not pavement. They'll go if there's no grass around but it takes some time. lol He was just standing there too.
Any person with a brain and common sense knows it takes five minutes to access an ATM machine. This movie has better have a great argument to convince me it's plausible.
Sounds about right to me. This is why I normally tell people that horror movies are 90% stupid mistakes because in reality, if anyone actually used common sense or a modicum of intelligence, over half of these films wouldn't even exist because the situations wouldn't last longer than, what you said, like 20 minutes...

I know! They could just make a run for it, it's night and seemingly in the middle of nowhere. This has been pointed out, they parked far away from the ATM in an empty parking lot on a cold night LOL
