There's a haunted house opening fairly close by to me. I don't know if I'll seek a position to volunteer work at one of these, but I surely wanna check some of 'em out as a spectator.

Saw DREDD 3D. Picked up The Avengers steelbook. Watched Raiders of the Lost Ark and Temple of Doom blu-rays. Started Parks and Rec. (for the first time). Competent refs have returned to the NFL. Checked out the Arnold mini-doc. This has been a spectacular week.

The Rob Roy story still creeps the fuck out of me. What did Liam Neeson do in his lifetime to deserve all these atrocities!? The man just lives to avenge.
Rob Roy is one of those sleeper hits. A person feels for his tragic character and his family. A viewer loves to hate the fop nemesis. A movie fan appreciates the earthy tale of Rob Roy. And, one is inspired by his fortitude throughout his challenges.
Perhaps, more people should see Rob Roy. If they liked Braveheart, they will like the Neeson film.

For all his reported troubles over the years, Robin Williams comes off as such a contemplative, insightful down to earth dude. If this guy is in better health, I can't wait to see him back in some dramatic roles.
One of the more underrated dramatic actors and maybe the best at crossing over from comedy? His turns in Insomnia and One Hour Photo are some of the best he's ever done.
The man's a hardcore EVANGELION fan.
That alone makes him insanely cool with me.

After Assassination of Jesse James and In Bruges (easily some of my favorites), I couldn't be more excited to see the careers explode for these two phenomenal directors. But I'm hesitant to admit, the trailers for Killing Them Softly and Seven Psychopaths come off as thematically "lighter" than their last powerhouses. But after the way In Bruges was marketed, I won't let early promo's get me too worried.
I felt the same way about Seven Psychopaths but then I remembered this trailer from when I saw There Will Be Blood:
I'm hoping McDonagh kills it with this one because the plays I've read about are just as dark and gruesome as his feature films (and of course the Six Shooter short). Here's to hoping he delivers again!
absolutely loved In Bruges, but the initial trailer for Psychopaths didn't really do it for me. Still, I'll definitely be giving it a shot, hopefully the trailer was misleading on the whole.
