Seed of Chucky

In the way Child's Play 3 was a misstep in the series so was Seed of Chucky. Don't get me wrong Seed of Chucky is much better then Child's Play 3 but after the great showing the series had with The Bride of Chucky it easy to say that The Seed of Chucky is a huge step down.

Both Brad Dourif and Jennifer Tilly are both back and great as per usual as Chucky and Tiff but the addition of the Glen is just terrible. Every joke with the kid just fell flat and the entire time I wanted him to be killed off. Aside from that I wanted the movie to just end.

Granted since then I have re-watched it and have grown to like it much more then I did on my first viewing but I'm still far from a big fan of this movie.

Jennifer Tilly as the Tiff trying to kill the actual Jennifer Tilly was a great and very clever idea but it needed some serious tweaking to of pulled it off the way that I'm sure they wanted it to work.

At the end of the day, or in this case series, your left with a bit of a bad taste left in your mouth and unsure if you want another sequel or not in fear that Glen would return like you know he would. As it turns out it seems they are restarting the franchise again, lets see how it turns out this time around. Until then I give The Seed of Chucky a 3 out of 10.
