Smackin' It Raw: Likes and Dislikes for this weeks Raw (March 20th)

Things I liked and disliked about Raw this week. Warning, there will be SPOILER FILLED if you haven't seen the show yet so read at your own discretion:

LIKE: That the main event of the next PPV Payback is already set. John Cena vs. Ryback in an Ambulance match.

DISLIKE: The main event of Payback.

LIKE: That Daniel Bryan was actually upset that he lost the tag titles. All to often if someone loses a title they just smile and generally don’t care. Bryan being upset that he’s no longer champion is a small thing that adds credibility to the titles to show that they do indeed still matter.

DISLIKE: That unlike Daniel Bryan, Kane and Kofi Kingston both seemed to not mind losing their titles. One step forward, two steps back.

LIKE: Titus O’Neil actually getting in some good offense on Sheamus and that it wasn't just another squash match.

LIKE: That the 3rd Paul Heyman guy was Michael McGillicutty who now gets a much needed new name, Curtis Axel. Also his Mr. Perfect remix music is great.

LIKE: Big E. Langston getting the upset win over Alberto Del Rio, this is how you make new stars.

DISLIKE: Big E. Langston's finisher. That thing just looks like shit a guy as powerful as him should be doing something that looks much more impressive. Here’s one, I know the move has been done to death but no one in WWE is doing it now. How about he use the power bomb?

LIKE: AJ Lees finishing move. It is a wonderful thing to behold.

DISLIKE: Both Cody Rhodes and Zack Ryder both being in the ring with no music when Raw comes back on the air. Last January they were both champions and the sky is the limit now Cody Rhodes gimmick is that he has a mustache and Zack Ryder couldn't buy a win if his life depended on it.

LIKE: The Shield. These guys just keep getting better and better with every week. When was the last time three new guys debuted and were pushed as well as The Shield has been? These guys are the real deal and so far they have been given the ball and are running with it.

LIKE: The Shield vs. Team Hell No & Kofi Kingston. This was a great match from start to finish with everyone coming off like a million bucks. The Shield and Daniel Bryan look more and more like the future of the company every week. Seriously if you didn’t like this match then you don’t like wrestling.

LIKE: Kaitlyn and Natayla continuing the search for Kaitlyn’s secret admirer, it’s a stupid storyline but has for some reason given me a few laughs mostly because of the people other then them like The Great Khali and tonight with Cody Rhodes, “Who takes a phone!?”

DISLIKE: WWE's continued promotion of The WWE App. Did you know they have one by the way? Also are they REALLY giving the fans a choice in the voting when your three choices to face Jack Swagger are R-Truth, The Great Khali and Randy Orton? I mean c'mon seriously who do they really think fans are going to vote for? And why act surprised when Orton wins with 70-something percent of the vote. I would love for WWE to give real choices, I bet if the choices were Randy Orton, Chris Jericho and Sheamus the outcome would have been different. If anything this just felt like WWE trying to trick everyone into thinking that Randy Orton is still as popular now as he was two years ago, sorry he’s not, maybe if you turn him heel so that he isn’t boring as all hell.

DISLIKE: Not only was the voting for Randy Orton crap but the match was just as bad. Jack Swagger vs. Randy Orton is not a match I care to ever see. Boring as hell.

LIKE AND DISLIKE: The ending of Raw. It was different which is great but at the same time it really didn't do any real favors for Curtis Axel since it took all of the attention away from him when he should have been making a strong first impression.

Upcoming Disney Blu-Rays

On August 6th Disney is releasing three their most under rated gems on blu-ray all of which I love with all of my heart. In other words, guess who's getting all of my money on August 6th.

Oliver & Company photo 2459_front_zps3ceff151.jpg

Robin Hood photo RobinHood_zps8d09121a.jpg

 photo SwordInTheStone_zpsfc4df6d7.jpg

I'm pretty sure that won't be the final cover art for Oliver and Company though since its what they used for the DVD, its also going to be the 25th anniversary not 20th anniversary.

My Amityville Horror Review

Mah

Plot: For the first time in 35 years, Daniel Lutz recounts his version of the infamous Amityville haunting that terrified his family in 1975. George and Kathleen Lutz's story went on to inspire a best-selling novel and the subsequent films have continued to fascinate audiences today. This documentary reveals the horror behind growing up as part of a world famous haunting and while Daniel's facts may be other's fiction, the psychological scars he carries are indisputable. Documentary filmmaker, Eric Walter, has combined years of independent research into the Amityville case along with the perspectives of past investigative reporters and eyewitnesses, giving way to the most personal testimony of the subject to date.

Review: Wow what a crappy documentary this is. Going into it I was hoping to get a kinda behind the scenes story about what really happened during the events that inspired The Amityville Horror from one of the people that was there, Daniel Lutz, one of the kids present in the supposedly haunted house. I mean that is what we were promised right?

Instead what we get is Lutz being a douche bag and blaming his step father George for every single problem that he had in his life instead of taking any responsibly for his own short comings. He even claims that George Lutz had somehow mastered the powers of telekinesis and THAT is why the "spirits" at the Amityville house acted up and wanted them out. Give me a break.

This entire documentary seems like it was made to put Daniel Lutz in the spotlight which he claims he had been trying to avoid his entire life. He seems to want to come off as a sympathetic person but instead just comes off as a crybaby, jerk and complete liar. Every time someone asks Lutz a question he raises an eyebrow and then furrows his brow in anger while taking a few seconds to process just how pissed off he is about the question being asked and how to bullshit his way around it, before finally spinning the question to be about what an ass his stepfather was. The worst comes at the end when they ask him if he would submit himself to a lie detector test in which he pretty much says how much that question pisses him off because people always ask him that to prove something happened in the Amityville house and that he has nothing to prove to anyone.

One of my biggest problems with Daniel Lutz talking so much shit about his stepfather and blaming him for everything is the fact that George Lutz passed away in 2006 and thus could not be around to defend himself.

This documentary seems to TRY to get behind the scenes of what really happened but can never really get off the ground with it because Lutz would rather turn almost every question asked to instead talk about what an evil person his stepfather was. So instead it only comes off as a movie about a grown man with a personal vendetta and only wants to talk shit about his step father then anything else.

Overall My Amityville Horror is a big disappointment and should be skipped at all costs unless you like to hear a grown man bitch and moan about his step-daddy issues. I give it a 2 out of 10.

Yeah it was really bad. The only time they ever got any real traction on the haunting is when they are talking to a round table of paranormal specialists who spent a night in the house. Naturally Lutz is nowhere to be seen during these very few and far between scenes.

Superman: Unbound Review

Superman_unbound

Plot: From IMDB, Superman and Supergirl take on the cybernetic Brainiac, who boasts that he possesses "the knowledge and strength of 10,000 worlds."

Review: Superman: Unbound is ok but a bit of a disappointment after the last bunch of DC Animated Universe movies. To be honest it is probably one of the weakest they have done in my opinion.

That said I'm not the biggest Superman fan in the world but that's not really an excuse since I enjoyed both Superman vs. The Elite and All Star Superman quite a bit. This one didn't offer a lot new for me to enjoy about the character.

There was also a lot of things that was put in that seemed to be there for no other reason then for it to "appeal" to adults more that just didn't need to be there such as Lois flipping off Brianiac.

Speaking of Brainiac he was the best part of the movie by far and this movie is a nice showcase as to why he should be featured in a live action Superman movie.

The animation and voice work was fine but nothing to really write home about compared to the some of the previous DC Animated Universe movies as well.

Overall Superman: Unbound was decent enough for its 70 minute run time but this is one that just fell short of missing the mark for me which is a real shame since these DC Animated Universe movies are always a delight that I'm excited for. I give Superman: Unbound a 6 out of 10.

NHL 2013 1st Round Predictions

Nhl_2013_stanleycupplayoffs_english_primary

Eastern Conference:

Pittsburgh Penguins (1) vs. New York Islanders (8)

The Islanders have been on fire the last month and I'm betting they are pretty fired going into this series even if they are going against the dominant Penguins who will most likely have Crosby back in the line up for the playoffs. I think this could be the best series of the first round and that The Islanders have potential for the upset but in the end I'm going with The Penguins.

Prediction: The Penguins win the series in 6 games.

Montreal Canadiens (2) vs. Ottawa Senators (7)

This one is hard to call. The Senators have been pretty inconsistent this season but the Canadians seem to be just a shell of the team that they were before they clinched their playoff spot, after that they seemed to of just given up. Once again I can see it going either way but if the Sens win I don't know that I would even call it a upset with the way the Canadians have been playing the last month. If they can find their game again then The Canadians will take it with ease other wise I'm not as sure.

My Prediction: The Canadiens win the series in 7 games.

Washington Capitals (3) vs. New York Rangers (6)

There is an old saying that goes its not how you start its how you finish and The Capitals have had one of the stronger finishes of any other team this season, especially with Ovechkin playing the way he did when there was still a debate on who was better between him and Crosby. The Rangers had hard time all season staying in the contention for a playoff spot.

My Prediction: The Capitals in win the series in 5 games.

Boston Bruins (4) vs. Toronto Maple Leafs (5)

This one hurts for me. The Leafs have always been my favorite team and it seems like the wait for them to make the post season again has taken forever. Unfortunately when they do they draw the team that they have beaten I think once in the last two years so the odds are definitely in Boston's favor here. To me it all comes down to The Leafs inconsistent goal tending being great or The Bruins choking.

My prediction: The Bruins win the series in 5 games.

Western Conference

Chicago Blackhawks (1) vs. Minnesota Wild (8)

This is a easy one. The Blackhawks have pretty much been untouchable this season and the Wild ended up pretty much falling ass backwards into the playoffs because The Columbus Blue Jackets didn't start playing as good as they did one or two games earlier.

My Prediction: The Blackhawks sweep the series in 4 games.

Anaheim Ducks (2) vs. Detroit Red Wings (7)

Much like The Blackhawks the Ducks have been one of the most consistently strong teams all year long and the once mighty Red Wings came within a hair of missing the playoffs for the first time in over 20 seasons. That said they won't be making it to the second round.

My Prediction: The Ducks win the series in 5 games.

Vancouver Canucks (3) vs. San Jose Sharks (6)

This should be a good series, the Sharks and Canucks finished the season only 2 points apart from one another so neither is a standout better team then the other. Usually I would say the answer lies in The Canucks goal tending but even with two incredible goalies all of the bullshit drama that has been going on their and weighing the team down all year might be one of their biggest problem and if nothing else biggest distraction.

My Prediction: The Canucks win the series in 7 games.

St. Louis Blues (4) vs. Los Angeles Kings (5)

Once again this could be one of the best series in the opening round. One point separated both teams in the standings, so its all going to come down to who wants it more. The Kings proved last year they had what it takes to win the big one and if they want to repeat as Champions they have to be that team again.

My prediction: The Kings win the series in 7 games.

The Essential Movie Collection Sorting Guide

Dvd_rack_project_019

Disclaimer

* Before I start this I would just like to say that I don’t intend to insult anyone here. If you sort your movies in one of the ways I recommend you don’t, do not take offense. We are all different people with different ways of sorting movies. Although I call this “The Essential Movie Collection Sorting Guide,” if you have your own way of sorting that is different from mine then by all means go ahead. I just typed this up mostly due to boredom and thought it would be fun to share. So without any other warnings let's just jump into it.

Keep it Alphabetical:

This is BY FAR the most important part of keeping your movie collection organized. Sorting your movies from 'A' to 'Z' will keep your movies in a neat, tidy order and most importantly, easy to find. Want to throw on Pulp Fiction? No problem! There it is under the 'P'’s where it should be. Unfortunately, some movie companies out there do not want to make it easy for you. Every now and then there may be some exceptions. Yes, I know it sucks but I’m here to steer you in the right direction; to let you know when it is acceptable to not go the alphabetical route.

Movies That Start With Numbers:

There are two different ways you can go about sorting movies that begin with a number. If you have movies like “28 Days Later” or “300” there are two acceptable places to put them. First off, you can put both under 'T', since both numbers start with a T, but I wouldn't recommend it. My recommendation is to start off your collection with those titles and put them all in numerical order, (obviously) before you get to “A”. Then you are off to the races!

The Differently Named Sequel Problem:

Just about the worse thing in the world is when a movie studio decides to fuck with the name of a series. Take The Evil Dead series for example. You have The Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2 and then Army of Darkness. Uh-oh! One of these things isn't like the other! So what do we do with Army of Darkness? If we are going with our strict alphabetical order then it goes under 'A' but then you are breaking up the series. Seems like you’re damned if you do and you’re damned if you don’t. Well I believe this is one of those rare cases when the alphabetical order rule has to be over ridden. Army of Darkness should go under E after the first two Evil Dead movies. The worse offender of this is the James Bond series. What do you do with that one? Put each one alphabetical under its own name, in order of release date under the number for 007, or under B for Bond? Well if I were you, I would just avoid this entire mess, buy the box set to save you from the stress! If you don’t want to own them all then I’d put them under 007 in the order of release date. Still, if you buy a series in a box set then your work is done for you... just put it where the box tells you. No need to worry about how the hell you’re going to organize those troublesomely titled Rambo movies, just keep them all in the box, put them under R and relax (which coincidentally enough also starts with 'R').

Ignore "The's" and "A's":

For movies that start with the words "The" or "A" then file them under whatever word starts next. "The Crow" should go under 'C' and "A Nightmare on Elm Street" should go under 'N'. If you put every movie you had that started with "The" under 'T' then your 'T' section would go on forever, it’s just foolish. Foolish I say!!

Boxsets That Are Too Big To Fit On The Shelf:

This can be a serious problem. If the box is the same height of your DVDs or blu-rays, then you can put them where they should go in the alphabetical order of things. On the other hand, if they are too tall then the only real solution is to put them on top of the shelf in all their glory.

Do Not Mix Formats:

Let’s face it, as movie fans we all have movies showcased on various types of formats (DVD, VHS, Blu-ray). Some movies simply haven’t made it to every format. On top of that, if you have a big DVD collection then it is damn expensive to replace it! This may result in some people mixing their DVDs with their Blu-rays. There may even be some VHS in there as well. One of the main points of putting your movies on a shelf is to keep them organized and looking neat. How can this be accomplished when you have cases of various sizes mixing with one another? It just doesn't work. Your DVDs should be all together in one place, your Blu-rays together in another place, and your VHS in another if you still have any of those lying around. The best idea for those pesky VHS' that we all love too much to get rid of (we are all guilty of this) is be placed on the bottom one or two rows of your shelf. Depending on how many you have of course. There is no way that they get nearly as much play as your DVDs or Blu-rays, if any, so keep them closer to the floor out of eye level.

Movies and TV Series Should Not be Mixed:

Just like the title says, movies and TV shows should not mingle together. There is nothing more annoying than looking through a movie collection and having to skip through twenty seasons of "The Simpsons". Just like with the alphabetical order, there is an exception for this, but only one. That exception is when your TV series collection is small. Do you have 200 movies but only own one TV Series? Well if so, then put that series in with the movies! No harm no fowl and it is pointless to have a section just for TV if you only have one or two different shows.

Do Not Organize by Genre:

Seriously don’t do this! If so, the organization of your collection is doomed from the start! More people fall into this trap than any other, especially when your collection is just starting out. It makes sense to divide your movies by genre, who wouldn't want to keep all of their action movies together? The big problem though is when you’re going into sub-genres or even worse, a crossing of genres. First, the sub-genres. Look at horror, if you’re going the sub-genre route you have slashers, zombies, vampires and any other number of monster movie types. Giving all of those their little mini-sections in the horror section is just tedious. Then you have the cross genre movies. Where the hell do you put something like “Tremors”? It would be right at home in either your horror or comedy sections. How about “Big Trouble In Little China”? Action? Yes. Comedy? Yes. Fantasy? Yes. That’s three different genres that you could conceivably put that movie! If your collection is small and you don’t plan on expanding it, then go for it! Otherwise you’re just splitting up your collection in a dozen or more different sections and complicating the ease of finding that one movie you might want to watch.

Do not Organize by Director or Actor:

Okay. This takes the multiple genre problem and makes it even worse. Is sorting by director really an option? I have one friend who seems to think so, but where do you go from there? How do you sort the directors? By name? By who you like the most? By who you have the most movies of? Once you have all that figured out what do you do when you have a person visiting who isn't in the know on which directors directed what? From someone on the outside looking in, the collection just looks like one big unsorted mess. If you’re sorting by actors you have all of those same problems you get with sorting by director plus another very big problem. What actor or actress do you sort them under? Take "The Expendables" for example. Where do you put that? Under Stallone? Statham? Li? Okay well the obvious choice here is Stallone, but you can understand my argument right? It is just a massive mess waiting to happen and trust me, it won’t be a long wait either.

Do Not 'Not' Organize Your Movies:

Above all else this is the most important rule to go by. It sounds weird to say do not 'not' organize your movie's, it’s a double negative but I’m sure you understand. For this one I’m talking to you crazy ass backwards people that have absolutely no organization whatsoever. You folks who take your movie and put them down wherever they may lie in no order at all. Or even worse! The people who don't match their cases with their movies!! For example, you open up the "Inception" case and the "Fight Club" movie is sitting in there! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!? Even if you can manage to find the case of the movie you’re looking for, you will then be on a wild goose chase tracking down case after case with the wrong movie in it.Twenty minutes later and you are so frustrated that you don’t even want to watch a movie anymore. If you are one of those people you have my sympathies and are unfortunately too far gone to help.

So In Conclusion:

I know it sounds like there are too many 'do not’s' but trust me it is all for the best. Just go the alphabetical route. Your collection and any guest will thank you for it. All that said, I know that there are some of you out there who do indeed sort their collections in the ways I say you shouldn't That works just fine for you and good for you on making that work. I think my obsessive compulsive head would just explode thinking about my collection in any other order than the way it is.

DVD collection
The above collection isn't mine but it sure is a thing of beauty isn't it?

That is a great guide!

I already follow many of those recommendations! I go alphabetical, movies that start with a number go before 'A' and my TV series are apart from films.

I mix up DVD and blu-rays though. The few VHS I have left are on the bottom shelf.

As far as the "sequel problem" goes, it depends how I feel. In fact, I was always hesitant to put the sequels that have a different title together. I have "Live Free or Die Hard" next to my original trilogy boxset for exemple but the Evil Dead films are apart. I will look into this matter.

I organize my movies according to the first letter of the title. Therefore, all the movies that start with 'The' are organized alphabetically in the 'T' section.

I'm an alphabetical guy. I can't go any other way.

Thank You MFC

Awesome-art-header

I would just like to take the time to thank each and every member of MFC for all of their continued support on Awesome Art We've Found Around The Net. Without you guys not only would this column not be a success but it wouldn't of even existed in the first place.

As most of you may know Awesome Art We've Found Around The Net started out right here on Movie Fan Central as a weekly blog every Saturday called "tbondrage99's Weekly Image Drop." At first I just thought it would be a cool idea to share some of the fan art I enjoy seeing every week with everyone here and the response was good enough that I decided to keep doing it and after a little over a year got the silly thought in my head that if my fellow schmoes enjoyed it so much it would be cool if it was on the front page of JoBlo's main page every week to reach an even bigger audience.

I pitched the idea to JoBlo but I didn't really think that anything would come from it but because of you guys and the positive response you always gave it he decided to give it a shot for a couple of weeks to see if it would work.

After a quick name change the rest as they say is history. The column has been a success and I strive to make each weeks column better than the one before it and based on the amount of Facebook likes and Twitter shares it gets every week now it seems like its all paying off.

On top of sharing the artwork with a much wider audience the artists are getting more exposure now. I even had one of the artists featured write me personal thank yous. One said that because his work was featured in the column it lead to someone discovering him and he ended up getting some of his work featured in a art show that he would of otherwise never been included. Another artist wrote and said that they visit JoBlo every day and he, as well as his family, was thrilled to see that his art was featured in the column one week.

One of the main reasons I wanted the column to be on the front page was to get these artists and their work more attention and it seems like in some cases that has happened which couldn't make me happier. I have also had several artists e-mail me personally submitting their art to be featured in the column.

Anyways I seem to be rambling a little now but I just wanted to give everyone on here who supported The Weekly Image Drop a big heartfelt thank you.

The Golden Schmoes

Schmoes

After checking out this years Golden Schmoes nominees I think it's safe to say that surprising no one in the know they got it right again. The movies nominated in their respective categories are all the movies that best reflect how us the movie fans feel. I mean what other movie awards would have The Avengers nominated for best movie? It might of been the highest grossing movie of the year and universally enjoyed by everyone but come awards season no one seems to have time for it. Why? That makes no sense to me.

There are no better awards out there and it seems the only thing its missing is its very own awards show. I mean seriously how cool would it be if there was a YouTube show with various JoBlo staff members recording videos for the various awards?

Some obvious ones would be JoBlo giving out the movie of the year and Arrow giving out horror movie of the year. One great thing about JoBlo is that the staff writers are all great personalities themselves, anyone who is a fan of any of The Good, The Bad, and the JoBlo Movie podcast can agree that Jim Law and Johnny Moreno are fantastic and with so many staff members being guests on it over time we can see they they are not the only ones.

It would be pretty entertaining to see them record short videos announcing the award winners. After everyone does their video they can all be put together for The Golden Schmoes very own awards show.

Just a thought I had when I was reading the Golden Schmoe nominees today. Anyone else think this is a good idea?

Sounds like it could be something along the same lines of the old JoBlo Movie Show. (RIP)

You know what...we may be at a point where we might be able to pull this off next year! We may even be able to swing a couple of "celebrities" to help us out. GREAT IDEA and thanks for sharing!

All Hail The King

Jack_kirby

Not sure how I missed it but yesterday was the 19th anniversary of of the death of perhaps the most influential artists to ever work in comics, Jack "The King" Kirby. Its crazy to think that in one more yer it will be 20 years since we lost him and that he never got the chance to see so many of great creations on the big screen.

Early in his career Jack Kirby along with Joe Simon created Captain America but this was really only the start for Kirby as he would team with Stan Lee in 1960's to create more of Mavel's most iconic characters than anyone else. Together they created the likes of The Fantastic Four, The Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, The X-Men, The Silver Surfer, Black Panther, as well as several other characters associated with them including countless villains such as Dr. Doom and Galactus. After leaving

Marvel Kirby went across the street to DC where his continued to create character after character, most notably The New Gods and one of if not DCs biggest bad guys Darkseid.

To celebrate the legacy of that Jack Kirby has left in the comics world here is just a sample of the amazing artwork that he left behind for the world to enjoy.

If it weren't for Kirby, Stan Lee would be a foot note in comics history. Stan needed Jack, but Jack didn't necessarily need Stan. Though together, they were like chocolate and peanut butter. They just brought out the best in each other, and revolutionized the comics medium, and superhero genre together.

Yes totally amazing artist! I recently sold 3 signed Kirby pieces. Years ago I bought 2 original art panel pages The Losers #151 1/2 splash and a page from The Losers #155 - both really cool German soldiers pen & ink pages. (I sold 1 long ago on E-Bay. The #151 1/2 splash was stolen in 2001 over in France during shipment!) Each page now would go for no less than $5,000 each.

WWEs Biggest Losers in 2012

Ryder

Zack Ryder:

Was there a bigger loser in WWE this year than Zack Ryder? I don’t think so. He ended 2011 on a roll after finally capturing the United States championship from Dolph Zigger and it seemed like 2012 was going to be the year of The Long Island Iced Z. Unfortunally it seemed like his roll dropped with that giant ball in Times Square in New York on New Year’s Eve. It took only eighteen days in 2012 before he dropped the United States title to Jack Swagger and it was all downhill from there. He was constantly handed his ass to Kane on a weekly basis to the point where a new cast was added to him every week until he was wearing a body cast in a wheelchair. Thankfully his bones healed much quicker than Bob Orton’s and he was back in no time being made a fool of by Eve the girl that he had been head over heels for for months. He lost the match for his team at Wrestlemania XXVIII. From there on out he lost pretty much every match he had on TV whenever he appeared on TV which became less and less as the year wore on. By the end of the year Ryder couldn’t buy a win if he had Ted DiBiase’s money and despite fan support was back to hardly showing up on TV. As the final insult of the year when WWE flashed a “Did you know” fact about the top five WWE Superstars who have the most followers on Twitter he wasn’t even on the list in favor of The Miz in the number five spot even though Ryder had well over 100,000 more followers.

John Cena:

Yes John Cena was one of the biggest winners of the year in WWE but make no doubt about it he was also one of the biggest losers of the year. Although still the face of the company this is easily Cena’s most unsuccessful year yet competition wise. After a yearlong build to his showdown with The Rock at Wrestlemania XXVIII he came out on the losing end. After that he was Brock Lesnar’s bitch for the next month until getting the win during their match at Extreme Rules, and even that was after getting the crap beaten out of him the entire match making his win that very much like a fluke. After that Cena won the Money in the Bank Briefcase which he cashed in on Raw 1000 only to lose to CM Punk and be the first person to come out on the losing end after cashing in the briefcase. After that he chased CM Punk for the title only to come out on the losing end every time. He was then sidelined with an injury only to come back and challenge Dolph Ziggler for Ziggler’s Money in the Bank only to lose once again. For the first time in years Cena didn’t hold a single championship.

Alberto Del Rio:

It doesn’t seem right to add Del Rio to this list but let’s face it he does indeed belong here. Even though he spent several months feuding with Sheamus over The World Title Del Rio could never win the title and never even pulled off a single win in the feud that had any meaning to it whatsoever. Instead Del Rio just looked like a complete non-threat to the champion and in the end came off as a chump. 2013 may of started off great for Del Rio but that doesn’t erase the awful year he had in 2012.

Randy Orton:

For years Randy Orton has been neck and neck with John Cena as the face of WWE but this year despite the losing ways of Cena, Randy Orton had it even worse. Orton spend almost no time whatsoever this year in the main event of 2012 and instead has been regulated to one meaningless feud after the other. It got even worse after Orton’s sixty day suspension from his second wellness policy violation. Since then the company has been reluctant to do anything with him. Add to the fact that Orton seems completely bored by being a hero that he is just phoning it in night after night and has never been more bland and boring than ever to the point that when he comes on my TV it usually singles a good time to take my dogs out to poop.

The Miz:

Once one of the hottest heels in the company The Miz was one of the most hated people on TV but like Orton he too has gotten incredibly boring and has been beaten so many times in 2012 he has become nothing but a joke that no one could ever take seriously as a threat and as just become annoying as possible. Just when you thought he couldn’t of gotten worse he became a hero for the first time in his career in one of the worse and most uninspired face turns in recent memory which should of freshen up his character but instead has only made him even more bland and boring.

Tensai:

Lord Tensai made his big return to WWE this year after Wrestlemania with a huge amount of hype and big push but he immediately failed to connect with the fans with them chanting “Albert”, his last WWE persona, at him at every turn. After a string of impressive wins it was clear that Lord Tensai was going nowhere. The first change was in his name as he started going simply as Tensai and lost his neat entrance gear. After that Tensai started losing more and more frequently until he was losing every match to the likes of people like Santino and started showing up on TV only every now and again and has become a comedy figure. He may of returned with a lot of hype but by the time the year ended very few could of fallen so far.

Jack Swagger:

2012 started off with some promise for Jack Swagger has he won the United States championship from the year’s biggest loser Zack Ryder only sixteen days into the year and held it for the better part of two months before losing it to Santino who hasn’t been able to buy a win for himself for years in WWE. After that it all went to hell for Swagger. He started teaming up with Dolph Ziggler and failed to win the tag team titles at every turn. Soon enough Vickie Guerrero kicked him to the curb in favor of Dolph Ziggler and rightfully so. After that Swagger continued his losing ways even addressing the fact that he hadn’t won a single match since losing the United States title. It got so bad that there was seemingly nothing WWE could do to rehab Swagger anymore and had him leave TV on the September 3rd episode of Raw saying that he needed time off. Since then he has yet to return to TV. If not for missing from TV for the rest of 2012 Swagger could of very easily been the biggest loser in WWE for 2012 and the case can be made that he indeed is since he was written off of TV for his losing ways but given how far Ryder fell since the very start of the year beginning with his lost to Swagger I think Ryder just edges out Swagger is suckyness for 2012.
