XBox One Reveal Highlights
Source: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbWgUO-Rqcw
What I really wanna know is, will you be able to watch TV with it?
How 'bout sports?
if they were smart it would have the capability to replace the cable box so tv watching was totally interactive the reveal was more of a press conference if anything. Me being a xbox guy I hate to admit Sony's reveal was more interesting I guess we'll have to wait til next month for more
Smackin' It Raw: Likes and Dislikes for this weeks Raw (March 20th)
Things I liked and disliked about Raw this week. Warning, there will be SPOILER FILLED if you haven't seen the show yet so read at your own discretion:
LIKE: That the main event of the next PPV Payback is already set. John Cena vs. Ryback in an Ambulance match.
DISLIKE: The main event of Payback.
LIKE: That Daniel Bryan was actually upset that he lost the tag titles. All to often if someone loses a title they just smile and generally don’t care. Bryan being upset that he’s no longer champion is a small thing that adds credibility to the titles to show that they do indeed still matter.
DISLIKE: That unlike Daniel Bryan, Kane and Kofi Kingston both seemed to not mind losing their titles. One step forward, two steps back.
LIKE: Titus O’Neil actually getting in some good offense on Sheamus and that it wasn't just another squash match.
LIKE: That the 3rd Paul Heyman guy was Michael McGillicutty who now gets a much needed new name, Curtis Axel. Also his Mr. Perfect remix music is great.
LIKE: Big E. Langston getting the upset win over Alberto Del Rio, this is how you make new stars.
DISLIKE: Big E. Langston's finisher. That thing just looks like shit a guy as powerful as him should be doing something that looks much more impressive. Here’s one, I know the move has been done to death but no one in WWE is doing it now. How about he use the power bomb?
LIKE: AJ Lees finishing move. It is a wonderful thing to behold.
DISLIKE: Both Cody Rhodes and Zack Ryder both being in the ring with no music when Raw comes back on the air. Last January they were both champions and the sky is the limit now Cody Rhodes gimmick is that he has a mustache and Zack Ryder couldn't buy a win if his life depended on it.
LIKE: The Shield. These guys just keep getting better and better with every week. When was the last time three new guys debuted and were pushed as well as The Shield has been? These guys are the real deal and so far they have been given the ball and are running with it.
LIKE: The Shield vs. Team Hell No & Kofi Kingston. This was a great match from start to finish with everyone coming off like a million bucks. The Shield and Daniel Bryan look more and more like the future of the company every week. Seriously if you didn’t like this match then you don’t like wrestling.
LIKE: Kaitlyn and Natayla continuing the search for Kaitlyn’s secret admirer, it’s a stupid storyline but has for some reason given me a few laughs mostly because of the people other then them like The Great Khali and tonight with Cody Rhodes, “Who takes a phone!?”
DISLIKE: WWE's continued promotion of The WWE App. Did you know they have one by the way? Also are they REALLY giving the fans a choice in the voting when your three choices to face Jack Swagger are R-Truth, The Great Khali and Randy Orton? I mean c'mon seriously who do they really think fans are going to vote for? And why act surprised when Orton wins with 70-something percent of the vote. I would love for WWE to give real choices, I bet if the choices were Randy Orton, Chris Jericho and Sheamus the outcome would have been different. If anything this just felt like WWE trying to trick everyone into thinking that Randy Orton is still as popular now as he was two years ago, sorry he’s not, maybe if you turn him heel so that he isn’t boring as all hell.
DISLIKE: Not only was the voting for Randy Orton crap but the match was just as bad. Jack Swagger vs. Randy Orton is not a match I care to ever see. Boring as hell.
LIKE AND DISLIKE: The ending of Raw. It was different which is great but at the same time it really didn't do any real favors for Curtis Axel since it took all of the attention away from him when he should have been making a strong first impression.
Bored
all hail the king master of the madness.. slim jims at half mast gentleman

I have to admit when it comes to The Star Trek movies featuring the original cast I know full well that The Wrath of Khan is definitely the best of the bunch but when it comes to playing favorites its The Voyage Home that I love the most. This is the Star Trek movie that my movie store had and the one that I saw over and over again when I was a kid. Plus they go back in time to 1986, whats not to love about that...[more]...

Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan is arguably the best Star Trek movie of all time and with good reason, it kicks all kinds of ass. It was a huge success both critically and financially so you knew that a third Star Trek movie was going to be fast tracked. The big question though was could Star Trek continue on without Spock because, THIRTY-ONE YEAR OLD SPOILER ALERT, Spock dies at the end of Wrath of Khan. I suppose as you can rightly assume by the title of Star Trek III the answer would be no...[more]...

Although I found it pretty boring there was no denying the popularity of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Star Trek was a huge franchise that had people begging for more before The Motion Picture and it did really well. That said it just felt like another episode of the series that had been cancelled ten years beforehand. When it comes to The Wrath of Khan though, yeah, this puppy felt like a movie in every sense of the way...[more]...

Despite being cancelled only three years into their five year mission, Star Trek continued to grow more and more in popularity in its time off the air. It was even back on TV in the form of a new animated series for a year but it just wasn't the same. The fans wanted Star Trek back as a live action series and attempts were being made to bring it back to TV but then after Star Wars hit movie studios wanted as many space and sci-fi themed projects as possible and Star Trek was waiting in the wings ready to go. Star Trek: The Motion Picture was off to the races, the entire cast was back and this time it would be on the big screen...[more]...

Saw this last night for the first time. haha. I liked it. Bit weird but it was good I thought.
You write, "Star Trek: The Motion Picture was just kinda, well, boring." At age seven, I thought the exact same thing, and I see the film as still too subtle and cerebral for most audiences. Fortunately, the subsequent films remembered the action and spectacle. After the theatre trip, Mom took me to get a Star Trek Happy Meal. The meal was more exciting than the film to my young tastes.
Upcoming Disney Blu-Rays
On August 6th Disney is releasing three their most under rated gems on blu-ray all of which I love with all of my heart. In other words, guess who's getting all of my money on August 6th.
I'm pretty sure that won't be the final cover art for Oliver and Company though since its what they used for the DVD, its also going to be the 25th anniversary not 20th anniversary.
Happy

That's crazy indeed!
