Once again TERRA NOVA proves it's a generic amalgamation of all the cool pieces of about 7 other sci-fi properties, that when put together, make up one really bland whole.

Gosling's character in driver, albeit quiet, robotic and semi introverted, is probably one of the most real and relate-able hero archetypes i've seen in a movie in a long time. i think a lot of the draw and praise comes from those aspects even if it's not said flat out.

Well he is restrained and monotone until presented with more dire circumstances to react. I completely agree though, one of the most unconventional leads written into a script in a long time.
