Does Magic Mike even have a plot? Or is it just guys stripping the whole time (which is the only thing the previews have shown)? Either way, it looks fucking awful.

I agree that it looks pretty bad, but its from Steven Soderbergh who is one of my favorite directors and he very rarely disappoints me, so I'll probably be checking it out eventually.

Everyone always wants Nathan Fillion to play Nathan Drake, but I think Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) would be great for the role too.

I'm so sick of seeing this scene in movies: the monster/vampire/whatever jumps straight at the camera with its mouth wide open and the camera goes inside of it. I've seen the Abe Lincoln: Vampire Hunter TV spots a couple times today, and that shot is in it.

I thought the new Prometheus trailer was good, but holy shit, TDKR's new trailer just gave me the first legitimate goosebumps I've gotten from watching a movie trailer in YEARS.

Finally saw Hunger Games. While I liked it, I felt like I had more negative than positive things to say about it. Some of the characters were just terrible and so one-dimensional (the "bad" kids), the shaky cam was annoying as hell, and some things made zero sense at all (Oh hey, we have bows and throwing knives and the ability to make a fire, but lets just wait until she climbs down from the tree or dies of starvation). These quips aside though, I generally enjoyed the movie, and would rate it a 7/10. Also, I applaud the filmmakers for somehow making Elizabeth Banks unattractive (I didn't think that was possible).

Watched "The People Vs. George Lucas" last night, and was pleasantly surprised when Joblo himself appeared on my TV. Wasn't expecting that!

Really enjoyed Cabin in the Woods, despite the morons in the theater that were around us. But while I really enjoyed it, I can't help but feel a little underwhelmed. I guess what I mean is I don't feel like it lived up to the hype, but was still an awesome movie.

Same here, when I stood up to leave at the end I heard the people behind say, "That was the worst movie I've ever seen. I want my money back." They clearly didn't understand what they were watching.

Just got done watching tonight's episode of American Weed... upset that the people of Fort Collins, Colorado banned medical marijuana dispensaries. Hopefully in 20 years when all the old fucks are dead, we'll start seeing some law reform.
