That particular issue is a matter of "no matter what is done, we won't be happy." They have made it quite clear that the first and only objective of the party is to oppose Obama. Country first is a lie, and Republicans are selfish sore losers who want to take the ball and go home.

Republicans love to lick the balls of big business. BP is big business. Republicans are for CORPORATE socialism, but vilify aid programs for the weak/poor/disenfranchised. Every conservative that comes out railing against "socialism" is really just saying "fuck the poor, we like where the money is located right now, thanks."

Oh, and any vote for a Republican is a vote for homophobia and the pursuit of a Christian theocracy.

I liked it a lot. I liked Sandra in it a lot. Do I think that it is award-worthy? Nope.

Liking something a lot and loving something because it's transcendent or completely original are two different things, I guess. For that reason, I would give more props to UP or THE HURT LOCKER for really impressing me, even though I personally loved INGLORIOUS BASTERDS. I wouldn't piss on James Cameron if he was on fire, considering that the multimillion dollar asswipe owns a mansion which spans several compounds but is preaching to the masses about preserving wildlife. Um, reduce your own carbon footprint douchebag. Start first with allowing people to reuse their 3D glasses, that's a simple start. But I digress...
