Reminds me of the Konami arcade game.

End of Watch was sick! Tough to watch at parts but really well acted and incredibly intense. The handheld style looked cool but in terms of service to the story it was a little ridiculous (aka why would a drug cartel ever film a drive-by?). They only used the technique at certain moments too, so it felt awkward. Still the film was riveting enough that it didn't distract too much. I'd recommend checking it out.

Finally saw The Dark Knight Rises last night. A little late to the party, but that was awesome. Might be my favorite of the series.

The other two definitely didn't have Anne Hathaway in skin tight leather so it definitely gives TDKR an edge

Yep, Bane was hard.

Someone in the audience kept laughing every time he spoke, it was really annoying. I found the voice just fine. And Hathaway was great!

Just grabbed "The Casual Vacancy", "the perks of being a wallflower" and "When I Stop Talking, You'll Know I'm Dead" at Barnes & Nobles. Super excited to read all three. The clerk asked if I wanted to get a membership card because I was gonna save $5 on my $50 bill. I said "sure". He said, "Okay it's a $25 annual fee." I said "Don't worry about it." Ridiculous.

The Ghost Writer was a really entertaining movie. I dug it and Ewan McGregor was awesome. Couldn't figure out Kim Cattrall's accent for the life of me though.

Super excited for Frankenweenie. Before I was the film snob I am today, my dad used to tease my brothers and I about the original Frankenweenie short. We were all turned off by the name and didn't trust my dad enough to know that it was a good movie. Kinda cool to see it come full circle all these years later with a full-length feature film.

I love Doomsday, even if it is one ripoff after the next. Rhona Mitra is fun to watch and it has a good attitude. I may resort to watching The Poughkeepsie Tapes online. I know Netflix had it at one point, but I don't think so anymore. My brother goes to school in Poughkeepsie now, so that renewed my interest in seeing it.

That's the TCM2 poster and The Breakfast Club for those unaware.

I had a Fangoria pull out poster of that TCM 2 pic in High School, and yeah, the reference was intentional since TCM 2 was meant as a spoof.

The New Normal is typical Ryan Murphy; exploitative and lame. We'll use the R & F word on NBC so we look edgy. I can't stand his style. Back to Face Off on Syfy.

I did love Glee...but I'm the first to admit I'm biased because of my undying love for Chris Colfer...but now that he is supposed to only be a recurring role, I have officially given up on Glee.

Partners stars Sophia Bush and a favourite of mine, Michael Urie.

sjs41390
sjs41390 at 02:55 AM Sep 19

Ohh ok. I do like Sophia Bush. She seems like a cool chick off screen too. I gave Glee a very small chance and it was not for me.

Just checked out the new episode and I actually loved it! Granted the comedy fell flat and the Nana character is very old now. But the episode had more drama than comedy and I thought it really worked and I found the bits dealing with homophobia and hate to be quite powerful.

Yeah 2 is a mess but its fun to watch. 3 is such a random entry but it still entertained me slightly. 4 I absolutely loathe. It's just dumb and exists solely for Anderson's 3D fetish. It's really not Guillory's fault though, she's literally given nothing to do. Every scene is just a jump cut to her firing guns and shouting orders. They're not good movies by any stretch of the imagination and if I were a fanboy of the game series I'd probably hate them much more, but where it stands I don't mind killing some time with them. Also the first film is actually a pretty decent horror/thriller.

That was a great sequence. It was really long too, which was nice. All of the "setpieces" were actually pretty great this time around. Very well choreographed and shot.
