I'm glad Nic Cage is finally able to laugh at himself. For a while there it looked like he was annoyed as shit with the hair jokes and what not.

Sounds kind of like Funny People, which I somewhat enjoyed (though most didn't as they were expecting straight comedy, when it was more of a drama/dramadey like this) looking forward to seeing this, and Rogen's role

Funny People doesn't go as deep as this movie does. And this movie is actually good!

This is my #1 anticipated for the year and I keep hearing nothing but good things and Oscar buzz. I'm stoked.

Review:

Knight & Day is a movie I wanted to like throughout, but I just couldn’t. It’s helmed by a director I respect (James Mangold), it’s a genre I love (action-comedy), it features a top-notch actor playing the villain (Peter Sarsgaard) and it has a star with somewhat of a bad rep, who I personally want to see succeed (Tom Cruise). It had the right pieces, the end result…meh...[more]...

Studio: Universal Pictures
Genre: Comedy
Official Site: www.funnypeoplemovie.com
Plot: (From IMDB.com) George is a very successful stand up comedian who learns that he has an untreatable blood disorder and is given less than a year to live. Ira is a struggling up-and-coming stand up comedian who works at a deli and has yet to figure out his onstage persona. One night, these two perform at the same club and George takes notice of Ira. George hires Ira to be his semi-personal assistant as well as his friend.

Review:

In Judd Apatow's third directorial effort, he brings a lot of the same from his previous flicks (The 40 Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up), but Funny People brings a lot more heavy punches. It doesn't get you with the gut-busting comedy, it gets you with little jabs here and there and even stuns you a few times, but what really knocks the viewer out is the drama it packs...[more]...

Plot: (FROM IMDB.COM) Based on actual events, a plot to assassinate Hitler is unfurled during the height of WWII.

Review:

After "Superman Returns" I had lost a lot of faith in director Bryan Singer. It was so underwhelming to watch that pile of crap unravel after "X2" and all of its beauty. BUT I am glad to say that some of that faith has been restored after "Valkyrie...[more]...

Review:

First thing is first, and lets get this out of the way: this movie is visually stunning. Del Toro proves yet again why he is the best at what he does. The CGI of Selma Blair was the only downside to the visuals of this movie, but she still did look pretty good all fired up and what not. And I don't think Del Toro is to blame for that...[more]...

The Bank Job

Studio: Lionsgate
Genre: Crime
Official Site:
Plot: The movie is based on the 1971 Baker Street Robbery.

Review:

I'm going to let you all know right now that I am a Jason Statham fan. He is one of my favorite actors and I know the fact that if there is someone in the movie you like, you'll have a better chance at liking the movie. That's the risk I take when seeing any Statham movie. Most I love, and in critics views, a lot are hated. With "The Bank Job" though, anyone can enjoy this movie! (Okay, it's rated R, so no little children...[more]...
