Heh. I ended up seeing it by myself. First time in a while I went to the movie theaters alone. It was a little odd, and it made me feel like more for a nerd than usual...but the movie is so good, 2 mins into the flick I completely forgot I was by myself.

Heh, I know exactly what you mean. There was a pretty cute girl at the counter last time I went by myself (god...I think it was Shutter Island) and I thought she was thinking the same thing. Heh. Ah well.

Yea man I meant to get a hold of you awhile back about goin to the Motor City Comic Con. I met up with Jim Law and he's the only schmoe I've met outside this site

MJZ- I really wanted to go to the Motor City Comic Con, but my Dad was getting married...so I went to that instead. I guess that was the right thing to do. :)

Yeah, I am obviously not 100% about being able to do it, but I plan to at least try. I'll keep ya posted about the Scream thing from my end.

Not a strong recommendation, but She's Out of My League is decent. Very surprising, as it was not the terrible, Apatow-wannabe I thought it'd be. Sure, it's in that same vein, and definitely isn't comparable to Knocked Up and 40-Year-Old Virgin, but it's pretty easy to like. Harmless, really. If you let yourself laugh, even through some of the unfunny stuff (ex. the first 15 min or so), it's an enjoyable experience. I'm a harsh critic and had a good time with it. Some funny characters. Baruchel is really good.

Haven't caught Repo Men yet, and don't really plan to. Doesn't strike me as being very good.

I actually ended up seeing both.

She's Out of My League was ok (6/10 seems about right). Repo Man started out pretty good, but it went down hill fast. (4.5/10)
