Tom Hardy has signed onto star in an adaptation of Ubisoft's video game series Splinter Cell. Eric Singer (The International) is writing the screenplay adapted from the video games, which are based on Tom Clancy's novels.

Warners rep Lance Sloan who has confirmed the "Mortal Kombat" reboot film. Sloan also indicated the budget would be at the $40-50 million mark.

I'll start getting excited once they announce it for PC. Which is a real possibility considering that a) Microsoft recently had a laptop with Halo 4's Master Chief on it in their Gaming Computer section and b) apparently the leaked Xbox 360 version has keyboard bindings in it.

My only real fear is that it'll be a Windows 8 Exclusive, much like Halo 2 required Vista despite being perfectly capable of running on XP.
