IMO TDK is stronger in a lot of categories including the narrative and villain. The latter is probably the biggest part of a superhero movie to me, aside from the obvious character transition. Love EM both though.
.. And I tend to favor Begins.. I love the training sequences.
I hate the incessant need to compare everything. Sometimes it doesn't matter which is a "better movie" just which makes you happier when you watch it.

Today is National Give Thanks To Editors Day. Not because the calendar says so...but I do. I love it, but editing is mundane, hard work, ladies and gentlemen. I can't help but find it weird that there's still going to be Captain America 2, Thor 2, Iron Man 3, etc. I thought The Avengers was going to be the END ALL, BE ALL superhero movie. Will the stand alone sequels live up to its badassery?

Sometimes I like knowing spoilers before seeing things. Too often the movie becomes about the "twist" and you don't get to enjoy it for everything else that's going on. A movie should be able to work even when you know what's actually going on. Which is why The Sixth Sense doesn't work for me at ALL... because I knew the twist going in and everything that happened just frustrated me at how perfectly it was going along with the twist.

The Departed > Infernal Affairs
The Departed is seriously a brilliant piece of filmmaking... Just on a technical level, and then on a story level... so I don't understand anyone's argument against the movie.
My article on Joblo says it all. It's mostly a dumbed down remake of the original when all is said and done.

Entertainment Weekly magazine is my #1 source when it comes to spoilers for television shows I haven't finished watching yet. Goddamn it.
Heard this from numerous ppl. Honestly I gave up on that magazine years ago. They try to be funny in a lot of their articles and they just sound stupid. Their critics are idiots on a lot of things (or were when i tuned out). I once saw a full blown cover story on one of the Pirates movies only to see them give it a "D" in the review...in the same issue.

The Blair With Project is one of those movies that you either fucking hate or really dig.. I was in the latter and liked the atmosphere and vibe of the entire thing.. plus it was so original and fresh for it's time... the whole viral marketing around that campaign was awesome.

One can't help but snicker and oogle at the nudes stolen from celebrities' phones and stuff, but there's a small part of me that can't help but feel a little bad. There's some video and photos of me (hopefully gone and deleted forever) that would truly suck ass if they ever got out, so while nude pics of celebs are both hilarious and sexy, just remember to be careful with your pics, kids.
I want to look at the pictures, but at the same time, I know it is wrong. It is an invasion of privacy. It is wrong. I look and I feel guilt
I'll be honest though, the girls taking the photos should know better. Yeah it is an invasion of privacy but it happens so often that you'd think they'd all have the brains to choose another means of sending nude pics.
