Gonna go back in my DVD collection and rewatch Three Extremes and Martyrs.
haven't seen 'three extremes' but 'martyrs' was incredible and worth rewatching because it holds up really well.

Repo! The Genetic Opera is a wannabe cult classic. One that audiences will either find original and cinematically refreshing or ridiculous and bombastically pompous. I fall into the latter category. I respect that the film attempted to be different and show us a different approach at the horror genre in general, but unfortunately the "A for effort" rule does not apply in this situation... GREAT list!.All of BAY'S flops have a common thread, start well, then throw the story out the window and start blowing shit up at a ridiculous pace. He should stick to producing , and let less mentally undone directors do the duties like ALEXANDRE AJA ( HILLS HAVE EYES) and MARCUS NISPEL (FRIDAY 13th, TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE)
After the Island i promised myself i would never pay money to see another Bay movie,i broke that promise with Transformers 2.So i can only blame myself for sitting through that shit.
JimmyO's review of Remember Me made me seek out the spoiler online. ..Wow is all I can say.
I just reac Chris' review. And looked up the twist on wikipedia.
Wow. That's bullshit.
A friend mentioned it to me and I thought it was a joke and I kinda said 'haha, that's funny'. But it's actually real? the fuck?
Rented Day Night Day Night, Fast Food Nation, Baghead, Half Nelson, Thumbsucker and Mean Streets today. Any mistakes? Good choices?
A green screen is NOT cinematography.
Hey, guys. The rules are as follows:
1.) Pick who you WANT to win in each category.
2.) If you get one wrong, you have to drink the number of drinks that is listed at the top of each category. For example, let's say I want The Hurt Locker to win Best Picture, but Up In The Air wins it anyway. I would then have to take 10 drinks.
3.) Any award that Avatar wins, regardless of whether you picked it to win or not, you have to yell "Fuck the Academy!" and take a drink.
4.) Last but not least…if Avatar wins Best Picture, everyone must finish all the alcohol in the house.
Here's the list and good luck!
1. Best Picture 10 Drinks
2. Best Director 10 Drinks
3. Best Actor 8 Drinks
4. Best Actress 8 Drinks
5. Best Supporting Actor 6 Drinks

HappyAnyone going for Brooklyn's Finest over Alice this weekend?
like to see Brooklyn's Finest instead of Alice?
if so. yeah, i'll be doing that.
I like the Alice in Wonderland story but Tim Burton just doesn't do it for me. i'll catch it on dvd.

Man, if you haven't already, check out some of the older Japanese Horror stuff. Nakagawa's 'Tokaido Yotsuya Kaidan', Kobayashi's 'Kwaidan', Shindo's 'Onibaba' or 'Kuroneko'. If you dig Asian horror, you will love these...hopefully :)
Just saw The Pang Bros. "The Eye 2". It was a pretty decent Asian horror film.

Chillin'Is it wrong that I don't give a fuck about Alice In Wonderland?
I don't care about it, but I feel like seeing it high and in 3D will be an awesome, awesome experience.
^^^ A lot of people I know are planning just that, but I think seeing AIW on drugs would be fucking terrifying.
Not only is the flick unnecessary, but it Burton's third remake after CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY and PLANET OF THE APES. Yeah......
The Crazies is actually getting some pretty decent reviews. This makes me very happy.
Both great. My wife and I had a Halloween party one year and showed Three Extremes then offered dumplings for dinner.
