Okay, here's my review for Black Dynamite... short sweet and spoiler free.
I love this movie. Not so much because of the plot. But because of the attention to detail. Not all the jokes work, especially towards the end when it becomes even more outlandish that it already is. The original soundtrack makes this film! But I don't mean to take away from the performances. Everyone is dead on, but especially Michael Jai White. Damn this guy is good. This is a perfect Satire of Blaxploitation cinema of the 70's and like Bullhorn announces in the trailer, "he's badder than Superfly, The Mack, and Shaft all put together!" Just a really good time.
If you liked what Tarantino and Rodriguez did with their tribute to Grinhouse cinema, you should definitely give Black Dynamite a chance. It might be a little hard to find though, since THE MAN is keeping it down. (Seriously, I had to order this online because no one locally even carried it.) But I know, I'll be quoting this movie for years.
