Thanks guys!
Yeah, Danzig is very overlooked. Their first album was amazing. Met Eerie Von earlier this month at HorrorHound Weekend and it really put me in a Danzig mood that I can't kick.
Annonyingly I've only heard one Danzig song. But it does happen to be Mother. Great list, lot of classic choices here.
Songs = 5. 10. 19. Bands - Testament Iron Maiden The Rolling Stones The Doors & Primus
You have to preorder an autograph ticket for her ahead of time, just a head's up. She's not taking walk ups.

Makes a Vamp chick happy to see some Subspecies love on here...and FREAKING MONSTER SQUAD! Extra points :)
I FUCKING LOVE SUBSPECIES!!! I grew up on that series. And how could I NOT include Monster Squad and Lifeforce? Both are classic! In one, you have one my personal favorite portrayals of Dracula. In the other you have a smoking hot vampire chick that you couldn't PAY to put clothes on!

I've been playing this game for years ... my kidneys gave out 8 months ago.

Well I'm in the mood to revisit Holy Grail, thanks for the suggestion

The world(or the afterlife, in this scenario) would explode because it couldn't hold that much awesome at one time. Fact.

Can't say I was ever really engaged by Sam Jackson's Nick Fury appearances in the solo flicks. He's just there to like, serve a purpose but the character itself has been pretty ho-hum.
Actually Yosh, he does have a much bigger part to play in this movie. Even if he is a dick.
Oh I would expect no less. Just every time he pops up in the other movies, he's been the same stoic hardass dude. I guess he'll be no different here...

Nice! I can see some of these skills (fake blood, latex masks) coming into play when it comes time for the murders!!

Love all the choices! Alien/Aliens would be cool to do right before Prometheus is released.
Okay, I will admit that Alien is indeed planned. I just have to nail down a date for that one. You're right though, when better than around Prometheus?

Good list. Lillth was a little bitch. Death was good. I think I may have been the only one who put lucifer.
I'd have tossed Meg in there but nice list. Accox was fantastic in that role. It's a shame they couldn't keep her as the actress who plays the part.

I haven't been following the news on Halo 4 but I'm so in on that game. I love that series.
Pretty much the only thing that's been revealed about Halo 4 is a reveal trailer and some concept art. More than enough for me to be on board though!

That pic reminds me when I watched Bloody Murder 2 with Shepis in it. Her love for nudity is much appreciated.

Yeah, seeing the shark was amazing. Several buddies from the Army and I rented a boat while on leave. When the shark showed up, it was surreal. It was about 18 feet long by my estimate. He circled our boat for almost an hour. We were thrilled by it, but funnily enough we were pretty irritated. We couldn't fish while it was there!
LOL! Well, in all fairness, that's my dad's badassness, not mine. My badassness is completely different than his. Funny thing, to this day he calls me a pussy because I went Ranger and not Green Beret.
And I don't call myself a badass. Don't need to. I won't deny it, but I don't advertise it. I can handle myself. :-)

Laid to Rest 2 is a lot of fun. And I actually do like NOES but not for the reasons I should. I find it funny as hell.

The Descent was one of the scariest movies I have seen... until the monsters showed up

Yes, Kirsten is very gorgeous! As for Nancy, well, she's one of my all time favorite heroes. Seriously, Nancy is amazing.

I'm down with that Kitty! And yeah I've drank with Reedus, my pic is from the bar with him!
Horrorfan, I'd take that stunner like a champ. and about 8, you don't have to tell me!

Was there any doubt Psycho-Pirate?
And yes WalkAway, yes you do.
#'s 2 , 4 , 7 , 8 ,9 are all in my collection , '' BEWARE THE MOON '' sounds groovy !!
If you pick up An American Werewolf in London on blu-ray or the dvd that came out at the same time(grey cover), they include Beware the Moon as a special feature! Believe me, it fucking rocks!

I'd add Colonel Stuart from Die Hard 2.
Bastard murdered civilians for shits and giggles.
Well I was trying to keep it horror related. Otherwise you better believe Stuart would have made the list. After Murdock that is.

Kane Hodder would be the Irish spirit taken flesh that would kill the living shit out of the Irish blooded Americans that didn't give proper acknowledgement to their heritage. And Yes, Robert Englund would be the professor in Gaelic/Celtic studies.

I find it difficult to rank Mel's movies, they're all so good but I'd have to agree with #1. soooooo great
Yeah believe me, it's a heavily rotating list. But I just love the old Universal Monster movies so much. Young Frankenstein is the PERFECT parody of the films of that era.

The Subspecies films aren't everyone's cup of tea, but I just fucking love them.
Badass vampire films actually shot in Transylvania. From the batshit mind of Charles Band in his heyday.

Hey you're right! Evil Dead is totally a vacation gone wrong! Great choices man, I also prefer Night of the Living Dead to Dawn.
Thanks man! Yeah, I'd say The Evil Dead is definitely a vacation gone wrong film. Glad to see someone else that prefers Night over Dawn(although Dawn is an AMAZING film in it's own right).
I have to see Tucker and Dale after all the positive buzz it's been getting.

Big fan of Danielle, no doubt. Love her in everything I've seen her in. But, to me at least, Jamie Lee Curtis is just legendary. And Tiffany Shepis takes the role of Scream Queen much more to heart. That, and she's the sexiest woman alive.

Yeah leesemarie, there is absolutely nothing good about that remake.
Glad you like it randychico!
Now that's fucking awesome. So in that case, you made We Were Soldiers a good movie.
I won't take credit for that, honestly the story of We Were Soldiers made that movie a damn good movie. It actually is a true story. We just helped to make it realistic.
I've heard from many different people that Harris is very nice in person. I love her so much.

I was thinking Andy Serkis NO. You are right though, they broke the mold with him.
@nerd85 Never cared for them personally. And Ozzy's story is fucking amazing.

Nice picks, I wouldn't even know which movies to put on my list cause I'm not sure which movie came out what year.
Thanks man. IMDB helped me out a bit, but mostly I just checked the backs of my dvd cases to see the years.

Love some of these flicks. Just talking today about how I need to watch Spaceball, feels like it's been years. Only one that pops into my head that isn't up there is Harvey...is that considered a screwball comedy? I always thought so but maybe not. Anywho, good list idea.
I like Harvey, but some of these were tough picks. Except the Mel Brooks ones. Shit, I could make a list of ONLY his movies.
Savini and Foree, Foree especially damn I can't believe I forgot him. Lol, good list though! I'm going to go tweak mine now :]
lol thanks, I'm a horror fan through and through. Hell, the main reason I've fallen in love with this site was the Arrow, he USUALLY has great taste, though on somethings I disagree. But Horror is far and away my favorite genre.
Thats what I like about Rob Zombie cause his movies are full of horror LEGENDS.
Was just sitting and enjoying a Guinness and watching John Carpenter's Vampires when the idea for this list came to mind. After seeing that flick again, I'd buy James Woods a beer!
Awesome!
