^^^I was thinking more of something along the lines of Friday the 13th or some new slasher.
Based on a list by horrorfan23

She's also in King of California with Michael Douglas and Evan Rachel Wood. It's one scene but just thought you should know.
I think she got it, but her chance or her big breakout hasn't come yet.

I don't get all the hate for her either. If everyone who complained about Michael Bay was shunned from society, society would be a scary place...
MHO is that she is not that good actress, OK, personally is a nice gal, with good standards. There are some actors and actresses that are annoying and sometimes is not about their talent or their personal lives, is just everyone's personal approach. Is good you make a list of the qualities you see in Megan, because that is you expressing something positive about an artist you like and also, can help other's to give her a chance. Nice list!

5. !! THANK YOU I have been thinking about this for ages!
10. Exactly!.
11. I know right?
Funny, DRIVE has everything of this.
#9 Adult appeal is important. I agree for the most part. Sometimes, a superhero flick can appeal mainly to the younger set successfully. We all got hooked on action at an early age.
However, an action movie needs some amount of bad-assery. And, it needs to appeal to the widest audience. I prefer that action movies have some violence, gore, and nudity to them. Such elements are realistic representations of violence. Such elements are cathartic.

I saw #2 when it was in the theatre, was actually really looking forward to it... man did it stink. The movie itself wasn't very good but a lot of my dislike for it comes from Jaden Smith stinking up the place
agreed on 1,4,5,6 and 9! Also I thought I heard that that homeless guy actually owned an apartment or something lol
3 - I believe it was warranted. I love Mass Effect, I am a big fan of the series, but I am not a fanboy. I feel fine calling myself a fan and still criticizing the downfalls of the game, and that was a massive one. They reached the conclusion and royally underwhelmed with it. A shame.
1,4,5,6 agreed though for sure

Regarding 3, I'm not talking about my hair. I'm talking about someone I used to be obsessed with.
1. I stand by him
2. I will probably watch it just because I like Bruce W.
3. Or the hair will grow again but.. hell it could be a tragedy in some cases.
4. Yes you are right... crap!
5. and the good ones too.
6. True.
2) I'm pretty sure the "new" NFS is just an updated version of Most Wanted (same exact name) from a few years ago.

Battlebots was my favorite thing ever. I think watching that is what finally convinced my dad he wasn't going to be able to get me to like sports.
Based on a list by Laksmikanti
1 - unfortunately not the case most of the time with all these studio geniuses who wait til after the movie's done filming to tell the filmmakers that it's going to be in 3D... ugh
nice list though, thankfully I've never gotten a headache/felt uncomfortable watching 3D myself (or with the glasses)
It's very distracting to me. I don't focus on the movie but what may look different in the scene.

Banshee is an alternative name for a ghost according to a Thesaurus.
But who knows? This idea will mutate eventually.

and Meester perfectly captures the young and cute look of the pink ranger.. this is a great list dude
2 would be interesting but honestly I think Zack Snyder would be the perfect man for the job.
3 would be a very cool choice!
5 oh I know you're going to hate this so just LOOK AWAY NOW RAZ but I think SERIOUSLY DO NOT CONTINUE READING that the best choice would actually be LAST WARNING Len Wiseman after seeing what he did in TR, I think he could nail it
2 and 6 are inspired, and Berg could definitely pull off Uncharted
@Cochise, if Snyder could only direct one hypothetically, I'd want it to be Devil may Cry
^ that would be very cool for sure, but even though I actually prefer Devil May Cry as a series (still love God of War though) I'd rather see Snyder on GoW. A live action DMC movie with a proper budget would be amazing though... personally I think it would be more suited to Guillermo del Toro or something with the creepy demonic gothic creatures and such... Snyder would most definitely be able to rock the shit out of it though. Screw it, get him on both and get GDT to produce Devil May Cry =p

10. I agree about onions, but I do love me some onion rings and green onions.

Based on a list by horrorfan23

Sure. Why not? I'll get Robert Kurtzman to do a full body suit and make up. :D
Cool! I never saw this I should though it's Regina George's favorite movie.
I haven't seen this film yet but I've been meaning to. Ali Larter in nothing but cream, yum.

Fox passed on 'Ted.' How do you say no to the guy who makes your sunday night TV block?
^ I'm sure they regret making that decision, considering how much money it made and it's the guy that's responsible for Family Guy, which I'm sure brings in a lot of money for the studio.
Good to see this List!, I was given a bunch of movies of Jason S. to see, but.. no one of them is in this list.

I've seen many of these lists, but I can't agree with Gina Carano. I could never be with her. Not that she isn't hot. She is. She REALLY is. But I don't want to be involved with someone that could try to kick my ass. I'm nobody's bitch.

Yes, finally an Asian who kicks @ss with something other than martial arts.

I don't think the bourbon will be necessary for Battleship either. It is also legitimately hilarious.
I agree with VitaminMan8 on 21 Jump Street, also I don't see much need for Bourbon for Hunger Games, the book though nothing ground breaking is good, and I've heard the movie was a good adaptation excluding the shaky cam.
I think Last Airbender should be on there... amazing score... shit film

shit, if i had the money, there's a few things Id like done. I mean really, how is it different from getting braces. Yeah loving youself how you are is great. But if there's something you really don't like, I see no problem in changing it. Only when it becomes an addiction is it harmful.

@Razgirz I know when I read she was linked to the part I was pleased. She looks like she could be Campbell's/Sid's cousin. Would have been interesting to see. I've not seen much of her acting though.

#3 Both X-Men and Blade can have moody stories, but they explore different emotional facets. I would believe that the two would both appeal to a h.s. freshman. Claremont's X-Men did to me.
#6&7 Those two choices go together. BTW, Garner has her birthday today. But, you might know that.
More diversity, but less stereotypes. Not every black or hispanic male is a gangster, Hollywood.

Well, I have my moments of social brilliance but at times I'm just awkward like a fish out of water. It comes and goes.
I'll take your word for it, but i don't believe its the case here. Hell your more accepted here than I am, and that's the truth. :) And besides, Social Awkwardness is normally the so-called "regular" people, acting like morons toward someone with actual intelligence, charisma, and presence.

Avatar is SO NOT WORTH IT. And if you're talking about the watered down, pussy, we-missed-the-damn-point US version of The Ring, I totally agree.
I do like H20 and bits of Napoleon and the Shrek sequels are amusing enough for me to watch more than once.

The 80's are for sure my favourite. Creativity was at an all time high. Back To The Future, Indiana Jones, Robocop, Rambo, etc.
I don't think Highlander has aged really well ( although I did like it when I first saw it in the theater ) but Aliens , The Terminator and The Thing are three of my all time favorite films
Ok...I'll take your word for it. (cause I only know who Victoria Justice is)
The Thing scared the bejesus out of me as a kid... #2/3- agreed.
Good call on Buried - I felt so insanely uncomfortable and helpless with that viewing.. It was so hard to watch.
I never thought The Thing was scary when I was younger, just disgusting. lol. Sixth Sense, yeah. It's the whole ghost thing and clever, creepy cinematography.

I agree that Blake is bland by personality standards, but HOT DAMN have tosay two thumbs up on a killer body.

^Yep. Ok, I remember. he does kinda look like Orton though.
He was in Anacondas if my memory serves correctly.
I don't think that Matt Damon should completely stay out of action movies, but the Bourne films didn't use him in the best way. While I enjoyed the Bourne films for what they were, I think Damon showed more emotion in the Contagion trailer than in all three Bourne films combined. I also think that Justin Long worked in Die Hard 4 for that role.
Yeahhh I disagree with Damon in Bourne. Erryone else here i can go either way.

Casino Royale is not only one of the best action movies of the last decade, it's one of the best movies I've ever seen. Great list.
great list!! #3 would be #1 for me however!! and Megan is well plastic looking lately reminds me of a barbie doll and not in a good way either

I won't watch it for one reason. it isn't necessary. Also the original is one of Arnie's best movies. Actually that's 2 reasons.
agree with Yoshio on his first comment, and I like the different plot with the TOTAL RECALL remake -- that' how a remake SHOULD BE DONE. I hate when remakes follow the original almost to a tee - fuck that, give me your own vision of the content, your own version and your own take, I don't want to see the same thing I saw already, at least add some things in there at the very least, but the best possible scenario is to create something BASED off that original, which the remake is, and is why I'm interested.
Also Kate Beckinsale, my baby.

you realize they all only have regular hair. But they also have expensive hair products and hair stylists. If any woman had those, they would have great looking hair.

Shit, I forgot that McTiernan did the Rollerball remake. I completely agree w/ #3. I thought it was decent all the way thru and then the ending killed it for me.
War of the Worlds definitely deserves to be on this list. 1941 is a hilarious movie and twice as entertaining as the WoW remake.
I love Highlander too. But, not so sure about Lambert and Mulcahy for a Miami Vice Movie.
Nice! Schmoes know how to make appealing movies, at least on paper we do lol

Nice list. I think Neve would work more in Hollywood if they offered her more parts but for now it looks like she's staying in England.

I LOVED PANDORUM AND MALLRATS!.
"I too am in the framing business."
Punisher, Broken Arrow & Judge Dredd all kick ass. Jennifer's Body & Under Seige 2 are mediocre but entertaining movies. And Mallrats, well, if you ever see the extended cut, you can see what Kevin Smith had originally intended the movie to be before a stupid test audience disliked it, hence why a good quarter of the movie was edited out. That's why I only watch the extended cut because the theatrical cut, to me at least, is quite noticeably a badly edited mess of a movie.
Except for Ghosts of Mars, I really enjoyed all of those movies. And even that one had Natasha Henstridge in it.
Plus, I basically loved Mallrats

I always laugh at the way Jin says "Hurley." I miss the show so much.
i agree with everything but the thing about season 2, that was my favorite
Sawyer redeemed himself way earlier then season 6, dude. He practically keeps them all together in season 5, as well as takes a turn for the best midway through season 3... that Dharma beer run in the van changed him for the rest of the series to a "good guy".
Also, I like #1 very much.
lol, i hated this movie. the ending WTF? **SPOILERS** so the world was ending...except Africas still all good?

^ Only one I haven't seen. And honestly............don't ever plan to, really.
I agree completely with the order and the grades.
I also don't really consider LVDH a part of the series, even though I didn't think it was horrible. Just not Die Hard.

Based on a list by wallcrawler383
I won't be seeing any of these either. Especially Spy Kids 4. Look at Robert Rodriguez's last films, Predators (produced), Machete (only directed a half hour of it), and Shorts (last movie he actually directed completely), none of them were incredibly profitable. He used to be so good.
Priest kinda makes sense since it took place in 3 different timelines so the future was the next step and they could flashback the HELL out of it (not defending it tho) they basically said they wanted a story that could tap into the long history of their series in just one movie and if you can see in the trailers there's a little bit of the old west in it.
Kudos on Number 10. A remake is absolutely unnecessary because the original is the shizzle fo' rizzle!!

I feel old. My first system was the original Nintendo Entertainment System.

Jennifer's Body was all about the Seyfried/Fox make-out scene. That's it.
Good suggestions in #4 dude. Plus I agree with most of this list. Except, I might give it a shot IF, and only if, there's going to be a good word of mouth

Not a fan of the Babality? Well neither was I until I saw this last game. They really put a lot of thought and effort into each one, unlike the originals where they were all the same. I still don't like Brutalities and here's hoping they add Friendships to DLC down the road. Great list.
Sorry about number one, Raz. I know I'm to blame for some of the reminding.

I can definitely see a trihybrid of Chris Cornell, JYB, and Ray Romano, in this order - with hardly any of Romano's features! Aside from facial hair, I'm not really seeing Brian O'Halloran as much. Honestly, if I were a guy, a resemblance to Chris Cornell would be such a compliment! ;-)

I agree with Last Boy Scout being #1. I think Deja Vu is an underrated film. I would have taken Spy Game or True Romance over Enemy of the State. No Man on Fire ?
number 6: NY! I'll be there along with some other great MFC peeps!
#6 San Diego is waay bigger and 1st ever MFC reunion along with the joblo staff (me being a little of both) :D
I totally feel you on the rest of them especally #8 :-/

Why does everyone love the Goonies so much? That movie is terrible! Always was. Is it just a childhood thing? Guess I was too old when it came out.

Back in the day, I thought that Elizabeth Hurley would've been the *perfect* choice! She's got the accent of course, and a smokin' bod. Nah she didn't have big knockers, but so what? I wanted to see a Lara Croft who was a real "character", not a video game fantasy.
Shannyn is a nice out of the box choice but IMO waaay too skinny. I love 2 and 4 though!

Jaws takes the cake, I still think of a shark every time i go to the beach.
I love you razgriz.
There is none one cool left anymore, to quote Homer Simpson “How did the country lose its way, Mel? When did we stop rooting for the man with a flame-thrower or an acid-spraying gun of some kind?”
Alas our feelings fall on deaf ears as there is no salvation on the horizon unless someone in Hollywood actually reads my screenplays.

As a Stephanie, I would like to take this moment to correct your spelling of Ms Meyer. Her name for some reason or another is spelt with an 'e' instead of an 'a', so it's Stephenie, and I'm slightly glad I don't completely have to share my name with her crazy ass. lol

Some Schmoes need this list of suggestions. I have resolved not to be bitter this year. But, Valentine's just ain't for everyone.
Hey, imdb listed A Streetcar Named Desire under romantic movies today. I am a little surprised considering how Stanley treats the "two queens" in that film.

I have no idea how you would remember something like car chase scenes in so many movies. I am always impressed by these lists on the premise alone. Good job.
Awesome list! Surprised none of the chases from any of the Bourne movies showed up.

Great list! And, wow! I haven't seen Shiri Appleby's name around since back in the Roswell days!
Great list man and I do love your #1 (and Im not surprised by #2 hehe)
My choice out of this list would be Gemma Arterton. I think she'd play a spunky Lois Lane. But knowing the studio, they'll perfer a younger babe.

^^^Why it is memorable. Seriously! Someone had the balls to write let alone film this?!
They got big balls indeed.
If awards shows were more like this, the world would be a better place.
all's good but I would go with A Serbian Film for number 11, or maybe a tie between the two ;)
Disagreed on #4 (releasing it as PG-13 was the only major crime), but otherwise YES.

I'm going to be redoing my top ten in the next few days. I knew I did it too early before.
Nice list though dude.
I agree with everything except for one: Kathy Griffin. I love her =] But everything else I 100% agree with!
They're not going away any time soon. Fucking Beiber, he even has a doll being advertised. Ken from Toy Story 3 should kick Beiber's doll's ass.
I was just talking about number 3 today. That and Diablo III will cause me to take vacation from work.

Nice! I would personally add ScarJo, Charlize Theron, Kelli Garner, Sienna Miller, Sienna Guillory, Blake Lively, and Katie Cassiyd.

I would add A Fine Frenzy bka Alison Sudol and Hayley Williams...and how can we forget the curvy goddess Christina Hendricks??? and I agree WalkAway, redheads are pretty awesome.
Redheads Forever! Razgriz, I think you inspired me to do a little tribute to all the redheads of the world.
^^^Thanks. I'm still in dis-belief that it happened. Thankful that I lived and wasn't injured.
No Jeff Goldblum type of washed up, ecentric scientist character who conveinantly saves the day by cracking an Alien code all by himself.
I could care less about the rating, if it's good it's good... I don't think gore is a necessity BUT if it means censoring the original then please, dont mess with the rating.

I'm replaying Dead Space right now...what a great game. Can't wait for the sequel. Mass Effect is amazing...definitely play both of the first ones before the third...the way the story loops through all three games is unprecedented. GTA 4 was so money...as was Red Dead Redemption...
I kinda enjoyed Ninja Assassin as well but At Worlds End is actually the WORST film of all time, i actually wanted to kill people by the end of it....so I did...and i enjoyed it.
Yea I thought Ninja Assassin was awesome too lol, but the Pirates 2 and 3 were sucky. I didn't like either, and it really sucks because after the first one there was so much potential.
you forgot "Watch an actual funny spoof movie" like Airplane or Top Secret

Pretty solid list, and I can certainly see Neeson nailing the role of Lord Raiden.

Proyas also did great with I, Robot. I think Spielbergh also does great work with a PG-13 rating. Minority Report, First Two Jurassic Parks, and War Of The Worlds.
peter jackson (lotr trilogy, king kong)
ferrelly brothers (dumb and dumber, kingpin)
What about Sam Raimi? He made an incredible PG-13 flick last year in Drag Me To Hell.

You know what, I pretty much agree with this ENTIRE list down to the EXACT spot they're in. The ONLY change I'd make is I'd switch 4 and 5!
GREAT LIST! =D
Awesome list, I think we all had a thing for the original pink power ranger.

You should watch this Japanese gangster film. 'Dead or Alive', by Takashi Miike. Most insane, incredible opening ever.
I love your list but I think just for an honorable mention, what about the original Halloween? Just all sorts of creepy and awesome.
I think Saw VI should have Aaron and Jason caught in a trap. That would be the shit.

I've never read HACK/SLASH, but i hear its pretty good....yet i think these girls would be decent in the role anyway. Nice list man!

I still liked Live Free or Die Hard. It didnt have that enclosed feel like the first or second one but I still got the McClane attitude from it.
I don't hate Gone in 60 Seconds. I know the original is a classic car flick, but I could barely make it through. Actually the Nick Cage sorta jump started my love of vintage mustangs.
Enjoyed #1, disliked #2.
I would also add Wolverine to disappointments.

That's also when Night of the Creeps came out, which I just re-visited last night ;p
WOW, There's some twenty-something talent nestled among all that HOTTNESS !!

4 + in addition to that they never seem to flesh out characters much these days-unless it's a Directors Cut DVD. Films try to come off like many t.v. series over last 12 years or so, in sound bites. The sound bite is fine for trailers ,but most films are shot in their entirety in that manner too often now.
yeah i agree with all except Knight and Day. Just because i trust Tom Cruise
Sorcerer's Apprentice has started getting good word of mouth and i'm with PP-99 that even if Cruise is 1 pineapple short of a fruit salad his movies are solid.
...all good things to stive for
