I didn't know how much I would dig this movie but I dug it a good bit. With Ryan Reynolds already as "Wade Wilson" I wanted someone else to be Hal Jordan,It seemed like Ryan Reynolds had something I call "Michael Keaton syndrome" which means Great Batman bad Bruce Wayne.
cast/acting(8/10) Good cast I will say for sure. Peter Sarsgaard made a very creepy and odd villian so very good job there. SPOILER AHEAD!! The whole movie I was waiting to see if Mark Strong was going to end up turning evil in the movie seeing as he plays a really good villian in everything else and I think if they continue this story Mark Strong will be a great Sinestro! All in all great job.
Directing/writing(7/10) Good directing and the visual effects fit well for this movie. There was something off about the writing of the movie,it almost felt too fast paced...still a fun movie.
I like your Batman comparison. I'd compare him to Joker from it (playing himself not the role), but yours definitely works too.
