Just watched Brooklyn's Finest for the 2nd time... I still love it. It's definitely in my top 5 cop movies of all time.

I think the fact that Street Kings makes a Best Of list means it needs to be a shorter list :) Love the inclusion of The Negotiator though!
@Aaron: It was going to be a lot shorter, but I kept thinking of more and figured what the hell, why not include them. I like SK a lot... I'm not a big Keanu fan but this genre is my favorite and for me it's very difficult to find cop movies that i dislike. Do you have any favs that aren't on the list that you can recommend?

I was completely blown away by this. It was everything I wanted and so much more. Just about everything was fantastic about this movie. Acting, music, realism, etc... [more]

I have to agree with you, even though I love Training Day and The Departed, this is way better.
Anyone wanna go to a free screening of Brooklyn's Finest in Dallas? I have 8 passes... Each pass is good for you and a friend. So if you're in the Dallas area and would like to go, just let me know. The screening is tomorrow March 2nd at 7:30PM.
That is soo cool dude. Does those passes include a flight from Sweden then I am sooo totally there. :)
Get ready to fly, bitch!
My sister said she didn't want it anymore and I liked Jimmy Fallon in Fever Pitch and on SNL. So I figured I would give it a shot... I'm not expecting anything from it.
Oh and check out the British version of Fever Pitch with Colin Firth. It's true to the book and in my opinion is a better film.

Great list. I'd do some swapping myself. "Street Kings" is greatly underrated. I was blown away when I read L.A. Confidential, the book's a masterpiece and remains my favourite book of all time. It would have been next to impossible to film it directly as it was from the book, being pretty much unfilmable in the exact context from the book. The screenplay adaptation was great and I enjoyed the movie, but the book is just so much more as they did cut out a great deal. It would've been great if they made it into some sort of epic mini-series.
