I finally decided to check out Logan Noir today. I had seen the color version during its theatrical run and was one of the very few who wasn't enamored with it. I enjoyed it just fine, but seemed to be missing the greatness that most other people were seeing. Well, any problem I had with it before completely evaporated in its black-and-white form. The impact of everything was just so much stronger for me. The hits are harder, the tone is bleaker and the emotion is weightier. Noir, to me, is not a gimmick at all, but the definitive version of Logan and something that I'll certainly be coming back to.

Awesome picks. Scream is probably the most common 96 movie so it's cool to see another favorite of mine, The Frighteners, on a list.
