This movie is Fantastic, refreshing and obviously one of a kind. No one could do a Wes Anderson movie but himself. And thats coming from me who is 50/50 on his movies. Don't confuse it with ignorance or dislike. Because I do believe he is an extreme talent who will be around for years and years to come. I do have to say I think he is in his Prime and he probably won't follow up with anything better than this. ( STRICTLY MY OPINION )
All that B.S aside I'm here for the movie review.
The cast was sooooooooooooooooo greatly essembled as always in his films. All the characters where very constructive to the story, they all big or small of a role served a purpose and I loved every minute and line of this flick.
Sam and Suzy were so much fun, they were adults in kids bodies, they were so intelligent and independent. I had a blast watching them, shit i would have even ran away with them under the circumstances. But I am always blown away by these types of films where it demands the child leads to take the films center and make it what its supposed to be.To be an actor is tough, thats a fact. But to see these child actors radiate the screen like in this story is always so mind bogglling. Im 24 and can't figure out what shirt to wear, these kids create and bring to life a new being. MOVIE MAGIC!!!! If your a dreamer than you need to watch this film, not because it will inspire you, but because it will shine a light on what it means to follow your imagination and dreams. It really is a great movie to see, all ages.
I feel like I owe it another watch already, and just seen it. P.S. Roman Coppola was co-writer which is bad ass.
Watch it with your kids, grandkids, nieces/nephews, by yourself, however you wish, I guarntee you will enjoy it all the same.
