Going to a "1950s Zombie Prom" party tonight. The twist is that the hubby and I are going as the survivors. So instead of looking gross, we're gonna look fierce as fuck, just splattered with blood and toting baseball bats.

Ha, thanks! I found this amazing dress at the thrift store and was like "I dont want to get this all gross with rotting zombie flesh and whatnot. I WILL DEFEND THIS DRESS TO THE DEATH." Hopefully there will be plenty of photo ops with the horde.

If you could have any food from a movie, what would it be? The crazy colored cream stuff from Hook? The giant gummy bears from Willy Wonka? I'd eat the crap out of those candy mushrooms. The dumplings from Spirited Away? I tell you what I wouldn't eat, the fucking GRAPES from Pan's Labyrinth.

This movie has a special place in my heart. When my daughter was born, my son was sick so my dad and husband were helping out and I was alone her first morning at the hospital. It was like 7am and raining like crazy and I laid in bed, nursing her and watching this until my family came in. (She's a December baby, and so am I so it was all the more perfect)

There was a time in my life where I could barely walk after a bout, I'd be so sore and exhausted. Tonight, after beating the hell out of jammers and going in EVERY OTHER JAM the entire game, I carried my kids to the car, came home and feel like I could do it all again.
That PanAm lady is FIERCE
