My cousin absolutely loves this movie but I’ve never been able to figure out what it is that he finds so great about it. It’s not a bad movie, I’ve seen much worse and had a fine time with it. The first 20 or 30 minutes are pretty solid. The shit that goes down on the highway is rather chilling. Being chased and rammed by a mysterious trucker offered some genuine thrills.
The creeper guy was cool. I’d say he’s one of the more intimidating horror villains to come around since the 80’s, even though he got his kicks from sniffing dirty laundry and eating tongues. And you gotta give him props on his taste in interior design, because that room is one wicked display of trophies.
One of the things that made the movie almost intolerable for me was the never-ending bickering between the brother and sister duo. Their going back and forth certainly wears on the nerves after a few minutes. And it was pretty hard to like them much after he decides to go down that pipe.
Hey, look. That creepy guy is dropping bodies down a rusty pipe. Let's go check it out! I mean, what the hell was he expecting to gain from this? Is he going to carry the bodies back up the pipe that he can barely even get down himself? Or does going a little further up the road and calling for help just make a little too much sense?
The sister says "You know the part in scary movies when somebody does something really stupid, and everyone hates them for it? This is it." Don't know if this is just a parody of itself or the cliche itself, but she's God damn right, and I didn't care much for them after that.
Then you throw in the played out psychic chick who is able to give an explanation to all this, and that pointless Cat Lady. Wasn't digging that. And that Jeepers Creepers jingle was on par with the Shamrock Halloween song from Season of the Witch. And no, that's not a good thing.
BOTTOM LINE It’s ok. Not a bad way to kill some time, and I was entertained. The Creeper was cool and I love what he did with his man cave. But I was rather annoyed by the stupid kids and overall didn't find anything too special about it.

Solid horror flick.Love the past where there are driving and then they see The Creeper throwing body's down the pipe and starts staring at them.
Great review. It's no classic, but it's a fun monster movie with a better than average creature.

Love this one
