Cool to see Jeffrey Combs reprising his most famous (and personal favorite) role. He's hasn't lost it, the character is exactly the same and he's still hilariously serious. There's just as much camp to this one as the original and Bride. And while I can't say I liked it as I did the first two, I still had a lot of fun with it.
The effects are great. It wasn't the CGI circus that I expected from a 2003 flick. There's some digital stuff, but they mostly rely on the practicals. The gore factor doesn't quite peak until the finale, but it's worth the wait. There's a great scene Junkie prisoner gets a hold of a syringe full of the green shit and shoots it up, and the results are pretty wicked.
BOTTOM LINE: I enjoyed it. It's just as silly and campy as the first two and follows the same formula, but I just didn't find it to be quite as funny, or as gory. But it's a respectable addition to a series that I love dearly and I had fun with it. If nothing else, watch it for the battle between a re-animated mouse and a re-animated severed penis. I'm not kidding.

If you love cheese horror than I highly recommend you check this trilogy out.
This was the first one of those films I saw. It was werid. Good werid though. Then I saw the first one. Still haven't seen the second one.

haven't seen either this or the original but always wanted to, sounds right up my alley. Love cheese horror
